Dade City (Fla.) Pasco athlete Jayvaughn Myers is a high three-star recruit with major ACC and SEC offers. He was there and likely commanded attention. Arguably the most sought after player at the camp, other than the last player in this write up.

In an interesting story, Texas defensive end Jalen Lynch – the son of former Tar Heel basketball great George Lynch – camped. And apparently Texas is starting to show some interest.

K.J. Sails is a long defensive back that was one of the better players in the secondary ther,
One sleeper at the camp from the ’16 class was Torrance Marable of Decatur (Ga.) Towers. He’s got offers from a host of Group of Five and FCS schools. He lacks ideal size for a corner, but he could be a skill guy that gets some looks for some spot on the field. Another sleeper that was trying to impress? Rising senior dual-that QB/athlete Kobie Jones of Dunnellon, Fla., who had Alabama State and Florida A&M offers going in, and has the highest possible two-star (5.4) ranking.

Tampa (Fla.) Jefferson wide out Antonio Nunn is a 6-foot, 186-pound rising senior with Buffalo and Georgia State offers, and he was one of the better receivers at the event.

Hurricane, W.V., athlete Conner Watts comes from Ryan Switzer’s home state and would like to be that kind of player, but no offer yet. He was there, though.

One of the most significant visitors and campers was Marvin Ridge ’17 receiver Emeka Emezie, who we’ve reported on before. UNC is an offer he wants pretty badly and his teammate, Dmitri Emmanuel, already has one. Emezie has offers from Miami, Kentucky and Boston College, and it wouldn’t be surprising at all if he’s ultimately an offer guy. His long and rangy frame is an asset and he’s still coming into his own.

Apparently Florida State receiver commit D.J. Matthews (2017), a Rivals100 to Watch player from his class, was there as well, but no indication he’s leaning away from that commitment to the Seminoles.

All in all there weren’t quite as many big names at the Monday event, but they’re going to continue bringing in a ton of guys throughout this month.
