I'm remembering back a few years, to times of late, on how a lot of us wished for more of a DONT TREAD ON ME attitude mixed in with some boy dog. Well, I just saw and read where Berry jawed a bit to states bench after answering a Smith 3 ball. And we all know about the Meeks situation last week. I for one don't want thug play or complaining from our guys, but I love me some GET YOU SOME when it has been dealt. WOOOO

Part of the reason I fell in love with Unc basketball was the swagger their players always seemed to bring to the court, and a certain fearlessness. Stackhouse, carter, Rasheed..even mccants(I know I know)..Lawson..hans..Something Id love to see brought back.

It was clear from the first couple of possessions there was gonna be some mano-a-mano at PG. Smith tried out Berry right away and there was nothing to be had, and JB made a point of running it up his back on an early Secondary Break. JB won't start the jawing but he'll gladly give it back. I love it after he drains one and he does that vulture stare and quick hand-clap going back on D. That's him saying 'it's on'. Said it before, opponents won't like Joel Berry when he's angry,

I agree and I loved those Carter, stackhouse teams. I'll say, Dean seemed to allow the swagger-in game dramatics more so than Ol Roy. I love to see toughness and a team that plays with a dog mentality and for this team, we have it because of JB.

Theo and Luke play with a lot of toughness too. Joel/Kenny/Theo can be one of the better defensive back courts around.
