Anybody seen the video where during a Timeout one of staffers drop a marker, picks it up & K smacks it out of his hand & makes him pick it up again?

Another reason why many hate the man. He is a big phoney. He was caught on camera telling the Oregon player last year telling the player he 'was better than that" when taking a last minute shot and lied about it afterwards. His back injury is legit, but the "boy who cried wolf tale" comes into play for many that don't like K. It's a no win situation for K, but his past history causes people to doubt the sincerity of anything he says.
As someone who's had two surgeries for ruptured discs and lives with the associated pain, I empathize with K. Everyone here knows I dislike him as much as any coach out there, but I wish him a full recovery. I also hope they don't win another game this year.
I have had back issues since High School so I understand the pain associated with them! I still have little sympathy for ratty! I think he is a true phony and a miserable excuse for a man. I never WISH injury on anyone, but I believe we reap what we sow and ratty has sown plenty of evil. I even have trouble believing his back problems are real since he is so loose with the truth and has a history of being disingenuous!

UNC rights the ship.

Tripster gets professional mental help
Giles plays this year injury free

He is the coach of our biggest rival and a team that is going to be in the running to win the ACC. I would say that makes it big news and is worthy of some discussion. The other threads could probably be buried though.
Dook threads on this site are like Lebron articles on ESPN now...I'm seriously about to stop coming to this board. I don't give a s$*t if Coach K has backaches or Grayson thought about tripping his teacher. Can't we just talk about Kennedy's 1in vertical, Roy's continued lack of timeouts or the lack of 5star talent coming to the Hill? Call me what you want but I think we have plenty to worry about in Chapel Hill without talking about the pussies in Durham.
Well, there are probably 100 threads about those topics so you could always ignore the duke threads and just check out the other threads. But congrats on bumping a duke thread that didn't have a comment since yesterday.

I believe this is a college basketball board on rivals. Meant for college basketball, not just UNC. That's why different fans can travel to different boards. I see nothing wrong with discussing different teams and topics. It makes sense. Do you seriously want to discuss someone's vertical over laughing at grace allen? Talk about sucking the fun out of a room.

Exactly. And it's common place and makes perfect sense. If Jesus had a message board would he not have threads discussing how to defeat demons and Satan?

FYI - there's a main college basketball board on rivals for all college basketball. I think it's pretty safe to assume that once you venture onto "Tar Heel Illustrated" that you're going to a site meant for UNC.
That being said I'm fine discussing dook, UK, etc. on this board as well.

I know that. I was simply saying that these are college basketball boards designed to discuss college basketball, not necessarily just the team. Same with rafters. The "UNC site" is more about information. The board itself is designed for a broader audience.
