I was looking back at our 2022 team (our runner-up year), noticed Kerwin, and decided to check how he did after leaving UNC.

He went to Texas Tech and didn't play a lot at first but had decent stats.

TTech didn't do well his first year there, leading to a coaching change. And Kerwin got his chance. After 7 games coming off the bench (earning 1 MVP) he moved to starter and has started ever since.

We knew him as a 3-pt shooter and that continues. Last year his 3pt% was 8th in the nation at 47.8% He was also solid from 2 (54.5%) and at the line (72.7%).

He's "struggling" a bit in his final season. Only 40.9% from deep.

He's not a high volume scorer, but clearly a valued contributor.

It's nice to see him do well. I hope it continues.

The exodus class is either playing well or on teams with a good record. So good for them.

- Caleb Love has been on a heater the last 3 games. Good for him. He was really struggling earlier this season. Probably just had the best game of his career against TCU (33 pts, 7 rbs, 7 last)
- Dmarco Dunn and Puff Johnson are playing for an 11-2 Penn State team. Dmarco hasn't been anything great but a decent bench player. Puff's had a really solid season. Good for him.
- Tyler Nickel is contributing nicely for a 12-1 Vandy team.
- Dontez has had a solid season as a starter for NC State.

Role player for Texas Tech. Good fit

Dawson Garcia following up his very strong year last year with a great senior year.

19 points a game on 50% 2 point shooting, 37% 3ball shooting, 84% from the line, and 7.5 boards a game.

Caleb and Dawson have been stars. The rest have seemed to have found their role player spot at their level. Rooting for them all.
