Kohl Rosario is offered

Open up the bank account, if he reclasses to 2025, $700,000 will not get him to UNC.

Dang, this guy is impressive!

Man's body, excellent motor, high work ethic, shoots, rebounds, defends/blocks, scores from all levels, shares the ball + excellent vision-He has to have some flaws but he sure checks a lot of boxes! The idea of a re-class has to be in our favor since others have solidified his position for next year!

Join the Family Mr. Rosario!
Family is forever and winning is in our blood!

If the interest is mutual, I am sure the money can be generated from outside sources. The key is, does he want to come and do the money peeps like him enough to pony up!

In any case, put on the press, Hubs!

Cooper Flagg cleared a staggering $28 million in NIL contracts during his one season at Duke. Shoe money.

Looks like he’s scheduled visits with Dook, Oregon, Baylor, and Kansas..so far not us 🙄 hopefully we get one!

He wants to reclass to 2025, and UNC told him that they don't have room for him. Could be an overseas player is in the works. I would rather have Rosario.
I saw that! I really like Rosario too..I think Luka would be a really good get though!

Rosario and Luka both look very good. Rosario looks slightly better in the few clips I've seen, but Luka has experience and consistency under his belt, so he's probably the safer bet.

I have the same questions about Rosario as I do about Luka:

--Does he start?

--Whose minutes does he take?

If he or Luka start at SF, that makes us small again. Both are shorter than Drake, and neither seems to have his length.

6'2 - Evans
6'3 - Seth
6'5 - Rosario or Luka

Otherwise, I guess they play SG, eating into Seth's PT. If they win those minutes, I guess we're a better team. But I'd hate to see Seth shoved aside again.

Evans is taller than Cadeau. Trimble is significantly taller than Davis. Luka is like an inch shorter than Drake. Wilson is taller than Withers. Veesaar is significantly taller than Lubin.

How does this make us small again?

From the little I have seen of this kid my impression is he is most likely a 2/3 that will battle Denis, JPow, and maybe Jarin and/or Wilson for minutes at the 3. At the 2 I think he battles Dixon, Young, and Denis for minutes, if he starts he will start at the 3, I can see the Cormac Ryan references to his game some but does he have the leadership we got with Ryan? His real playing position to me looks like at the 2 and he will not start over Seth.

He will probably play the three and play it well...

Seriously? This is the nit you want to pick?

We're still small in backcourt and wings.

His team runs the fastbreak better than we have the last four years. That is embarrassing. From what I’ve read, Lebo has been very influential in UNC largely abandoning our running game, one of the hallmarks of Carolina basketball for many years. Few primary breaks and almost no secondary break points has made us easier to defend since we’re mostly operating against set defenses. Cadeau was best suited to that type of offense versus a half court offense where defenses could sag off of him because he wasn’t a serious threat from long distance.

This young man is a player, hopefully he isn’t d00k bound.

We're bigger than the team that won the ACC and earned a #1 seed in 2024.

Cadeau 6'1"
Davis 5'11"
Ryan 6'5"
Ingram 6'7"
Bacot 6'10"

Evans 6'2"
Trimble 6'3"
Luka 6'5"
Wilson 6'10"
Veesaar 7'0"
Even bigger with this lineup

Evans 6'2
Luka 6'5
Wilson 6'9
Stevenson 6'11
Veesaar 7'0

I think those who envision Wilson as a three are going to be disappointed. He may develop into one but I think he’s more of a stretch four. We may see that lineup at some point during a game though.
Depending on who you listen to, either Wilson or Stevenson could serve big minutes or even start at SF.

Since we know that Hubert isn't averse to going iron man, I can imagine Wilson, Stevenson and Veesaar playing 30 minutes each. That covers all the minutes at PF and C, plus 10 minutes at SF. Luka and the other guys can split the remaining SF minutes.

I have a very small worry that Seth will lose minutes with the addition of Luka. Especially if Wlson or Stevenson pick up many minutes at SF.

Seth needs to start well (as he did the last 2 seasons) but not regress as the season goes on. Powell, Young, Dixon, Denis and (Luka if he isn't starting at SF) will be happy to take over, I'm sure.

There it is --- spot-on with every point, arch.

I can't tell you how much damage just watching our games last season has done to our recruiting kids like this. Imagine running a solid transition game in AAU while watching the college program that basically invented it decide to self-own by choking it off.

Yet... somehow there are still posters who want to argue with me about misusing our personnel --- just SMDH.

As for this kid, sadly I am indeed told he's a dook lean.
