Sux they just signed the Euro PG. Butter needs to be on an NBA roster.
That Euro PG is GOOOOOOOD.
Butter has had a lot of chances, not sure why he hasn't stuck somewhere. Thought he looked good on the Lakers that season.
How many NBA PG's play defense?
The top ones..Curry, Harden, Russ, Parker, Thomas, Lillard all play absolutely no defense also.
Chris Paul is legit the only top like 15 PG that plays D.
Lakers cut him, but wanted to re-signed him for cheaper. He ended up getting pick up by the bucks and then tore his ACL. Wasn't that good in Philly while recovering from the injury. You would think his agent/team would push to go to the Rockets. That way he could reunite with the Coach and system that had him averaging the 2nd most APG in the NBA.
I disagree on Russ. Also Wall and Lowry are top PGs that plays D. Conley, Rubio and Bledsoe as well.
And the Lakers were crazy for cutting him. He ran their sickly offense like an all-star.
They play some defense. When I say he doesn't play defense, I am saying its downright awful. Maybe they don't coach it too much where he played? I don't know. Fran Fraschilla on Teodosic (Fran covers Euro players)

He will need to be able to guard a chair if he wants to last, just my opinion.
I don't really follow the NBA much anymore, but will Kendall get some minutes with the Clippers now that CP3 has been traded?

Hope so. I just watched those highlights and I know it's summer league but Brice looked great. Hopefully he'll have a healthy and productive season as well.
Big fella's getting a lotta buzz. Granted, how some NBA franchises manage their rosters is often a head-scratcher, so ya never know, but he sure as hell is showing he has game.
He should. He definitely has an elite skill in passing. Looks to be over his knee injury as well. They also don't have many true PGs with rivers and Beverley.
Stupid league seems to value scoring over distributing in PGs these days sadly!
Clippers v Jazz is like a dang Carolina pick up game.....Hicks from Marshall, Brice with the block, Bradley with the follow, Marshall to Hicks again, Bradley with the follow up, Hicks with another dunk, Bradley with a dunk.......Isiah Thomas is giving a ton of love to Marshall as well!!!! Butter can't score guys. All the comments are correct in relation to KM's defense and hardly any PGs play great D, but at least they score.
Young teams like his year with Lakers or Philly this year he could help because of leadership, but every year h collects an NBA check he is very happy.

Actually, given 30+ minutes per night and on a team with guys that can finish, I could very well see Marshall leading the NBA in assists. You can't name 5 guys in the NBA right now that see the floor and pass the ball as well as he does. But others have made the argument against Kendall - he can't score all that well and he can't play defense. I think a team would be willing to overlook his inability to play defense because as some of y'all have accurately pointed out, few PGs in the league do play defense. But all PGs in the league can score these days. I've said this recently about several Carolina guys, but if Marshall were drafted in 1990, he'd have a 10 year career ahead of him as a major minutes guy in the NBA.
He was 2nd in the league in assist when he played for the lakers. So it is not far-fetched. That laker team had ONE weapon in clarkson. Imagine him on a team with better players.
He's not necessarily wrong. If given 32+ minutes per game, Kendall would definitely be among the league leaders in assists. That team would be awful because Kendall is only good at passing, but his assist count would be impressive.

Thank you FlaTarHeel. What are guys watching, when they watch the nba I wonder. K Marshall got an ACL injury at the wrong time. Reason why he is currently out the nba, but he is a serviceable player with an ELITE skill.
He's basically starting over right now to be honest, and unfortunately the league doesn't value PG's like him as much today.
