This team has to be devastated and im not sure theyll recover. Their coach let them down big-time tonight. 3 TO's and he never used them to run and set plays to Johnson or Jackson. He just kept letting Berry and Paige shoot over and over on their way to a 4/22 shooting night.

I do agree with this. Civil critique of the players and coaches is productive, IMO. I like reading multiple opinions and seeing the productive discussion that results. I however could do without the trashing that some posters resort to (both the posters that unnecessarily trash players/coaches, and the posters that unnecessarily trash the civil posters).

If I was indeed incorrect about that (which I don't believe I am), I offered up another option for why he tends to lose to KU - if you choose to believe the latter, that's fine, but not what I believe. I believe its just that Self outcoaches Roy.

Saying Izzo has to be embarrassed may have been a little over the top - there are a lot of coaches that can't beat Roy, but I don't see how that is un-civil?? Unless some are getting their undies in a bundle over the use of the word "bozo"? ETA: If you disregard character in K's case, I believe he and Self are the best coaches in the college game right now. I think Roy and Izzo are in the top five or six though.

No I am not calling Roy a bozo. As I stated, that was my impression of Izzo saying he can't believe Roy owns him (by acknowledging that Roy owns Izzo I thought I would have sufficiently pleased those, similar to yourself, who believe Roy is incapable of doing any wrong). Obviously it was a bad impression, if you were under the impression I was calling Roy a bozo. So no "Your [sic] calling Roy a 'BOZO'" is not straight, you have it wrong.

I also did not state that "Roy shits himself". If that's how your pea-brain interprets that statement, you need to take some reading comprehension classes. I said that Self owns Roy. And if you don't believe that, I offered up a secondary explanation as to why Roy always loses to KU. I myself believe that it is just that Self outcoaches Roy. If you choose to not believe that, then the whole shitting himself when he sees the KU logo is probably the only other thing that could explain it (aka you're in denial).

I'm glad people with a little more common sense than yourself are in charge of the whole banning thing. I myself, am an alum and a fan, but I don't feel that renders me incapable of looking at the team honestly and pointing out when other coaches outcoach Roy. And I'd be willing to argue that I have a lot more to contribute to discussion on this board, with my optimistic yet realistic views, than you do with your constant head in the sand, randomly capitalize and bold words to try to make a point that doesn't even make sense, schtick.
