Leaving neverland

I can honestly say I've never seen an episode. I guess that's up there with never watching The Godfather or Scarface.

Oh please. Nothing in those threads comes close to the shit we heard for 8 years while Obama was president.

Yeah, cause I remember people openly weeping and performing primal screaming over the last eight years. The media got butthurt if you made fun of Obama's ears. Now they remain silent as celebrities tweet insane stuff like wanting to put Barron Trump in a cage with a pedo.

Yeah because crying and weeping is definitely worse than lynching Obama in effegy or making up racist conspiracies about him being a Kenyan communist that wants to kill America.

Fox News goes out of their way to defend him and spin everything he says so don’t act like the entire media is against him...

None of this is a valid defense of some clown on this board acting like a child. Just another case of whataboutism from the trumpanzees.

Yeah, because there are no veiled death threats against Trump. This argument is just so ridiculous.

The last 4 presidential administrations have all surpassed the one before them in creating a divided country. The last 2 have been the worst. It keeps going back and forth with the "payback." Gotta outdo the one before. Revenge factor is making it a total mess.

When did I say they weren’t? I’m not the one justifying behavior based on someone else saying or doing something ridiculous...

Sorry, speach isn't actions would be more clear. I don't tend to look at speech as behavior, even though it probably is, because speech doesn't bother me. For some of you, speech is a huge deal. I'm just different in that regard.

I think people who say words don't bother them, in my experience, care more about words than people who don't say it.

Speech is action. Speech requires thought and the using the motor skills to make them audible to others. Not to mention, there is always intent when someone voices their thoughts. Whether it be written or spoken, it is action. Words- the intent and the reaction they can create- are some of the most powerful actions that have ever existed.

Which is why I clarified my post.

I guess you stopped reading after that.
I read it all. Just because you don't think speech is action, doesn't mean it's true. Just because you're not easily offended by the action of speech... doesn't mean it's not an action or activity taking place.

Me too. In fact, I look down on people who let words hurt them. I think it's pretty embarrassing and speaks volumes about one's self esteem/worth.

Although of course, I probably really fall into this scientifically tested bucket:

I think people who say words don't bother them, in my experience, care more about words than people who don't say it.

Yeah, and I gave the reason for that. I'm not trying to argue otherwise, I'm telling you how I see it from my point of view, which is what led to the original misunderstanding. I'm not sure why this is such a big deal. Again, I've already clarified the post and I'm not sure why we're beating this dead horse.

It's not the horse that's dead
