In this thread, it would be appropriate to say "phuck Texas".
I'm sorry, but, I'm just not that harsh of a person . .
Tough loss. I'm not a fan of the way Little League does their double elimination tournament.
NC & Texas should play again since both teams now have 1 loss.

I agree a team coming out of the losers' bracket should have to beat an undefeated team twice to get past them.
I get that these guys have already played a lot of extra games and it's time to go back to school, but come on.
Regardless, an incredible run by the kids from Greenville, and it was fun to watch.

Man, I was in disbelief we lost that game. Felt terrible after, a few players thought they chocked the game away. TX team was good, we were better and could have actually gave Japan a game. Once we lost I think everyone knew TX was going to get smoked. Matthijs was the shot for a US team and he was available had we held on. But, you have to finish and I tip my cap to the TX team. They played to win and late in the game we played, "not to lose." Trying to get a few kids not to hold onto that sting.
Don't believe in moral victories but a lot of the locals have told me that the format did us an injustice. Aaron Boone told us this morning that the espn staff really wanted it to be NC/Japan game.
