Funny story. When I'm dating a girl, I'm big on using pet names like sweetie and babe. It's sorta just automatic, a Southern thing if you will, so I usually don't think twice about it.

Anyway, I used to date (well, I use "date" loosely lol) this one girl and whenever she called me hun in a text message, she spelled it as "hon" -- finally one day I was like "what the heck, what gives? I've always spelled it as 'hun,' why are you spelling it as 'hon' ?"

She replied: "Because if I called you "hun" I'd always think of you as one of Attila's minions"
