Love is a first rounder and will be an all star as a rookie….bank on it.
Leaky and Nance are old timers by NBA standards. They are overseas players
Why does our PG have a better...Love 13 assist and 8 turnovers
RJ 12 assist and 8 turnovers
Things that make you go hhhhuummm
It was not an insult, but a compliment. Love makes the world go round right?Coop I am hurt by the characterization of me. You know I Love everyone on this board. For if there isn’t Love…you got nothing…which reminds me of a song…want to hear it? Here it goes…”I got nothing but Love for you baby”
He's our poor man's version of peak Russell Westbrook. Not with the nuclear athleticism, but a good player, but a very flawed good player. His entire career here, he's been a pretty inefficient high volume shooter. Fortunately, he's he's drastically improved his 2pt FG percentage this season. He's at an unsustainable clip right now (19/30) but still a big improvement.Love continues to be my least favorite player on the team, despite being the most talented. His decision making is very poor at times and he resorts to hero ball too often. It’s why he’s still in college and not on a pro team, pro scouts have noticed.
ETA: I will forever be thankful to him for the three he made against d00k in the FF.
Caleb also ended that toss up (remember UNC was a 1 point favorite in a 8/9 matchup) against Marquette in round 1 going nuclear right out the gate.Dude hit one of the 3 or 4 biggest shots in Carolina history, he gets a little bit of a pass, not that he needs one. He will come up big in plenty of games for us this year. I’m admittedly a huge RJ fan, but I realize we need both to reach our goals, & both will have their moments to shine this year.
Without RJ against Baylor, we go home
Without Caleb against UCLA, we go home
Gotta have both, with chemistry, so we shouldn’t try to promote one or the other incessantly on this board, it’s counterproductive & divides the fanbase.
Coop…..you are right about Love……because I rather have Love above all other things….and when all else fails…what is standing in the end?….but Love.It was not an insult, but a compliment. Love makes the world go round right?
The issue isn’t division within the fan base, we all want to see RJ and Caleb play well. They were one of the best starting backcourts in the NCAAT. They should be again this season but it’s Hubert’s job to get the team to play together and share the ball. It’s amazing what a team can accomplish when no one cares who gets the credit, or something to that effect. This team will be very good, but there will be bumps along the road. I just want to see “Carolina basketball”.Dude hit one of the 3 or 4 biggest shots in Carolina history, he gets a little bit of a pass, not that he needs one. He will come up big in plenty of games for us this year. I’m admittedly a huge RJ fan, but I realize we need both to reach our goals, & both will have their moments to shine this year.

Not sure about “playing himself into a pro”, but I’m enjoying Leaky’s play tremendously. He’s always been my favorite UNC player from that class. I hope he continues to play well.Whoda Thunk Leaky playing himself into a pro!
Nice work UNC staff and Leaky!
My feelings exactly as well.Grover's gay love for Caleb aside, I think we all recognize that Caleb is the guy on the team that can either take us to the promised land or take us out of a game. He will be the reason we either win the title or underachieve. That's a lot of pressure for the young man and he doesn't need fanboys purposely irritating message board fans with silliness. That's just going to make it worse.
I don't think Caleb is an unlikable guy. I too wish he exuded a different demeanor but if his teammates are good with it, we can be too.
This room is spinning, because of all the gheyness. My feelings exactly as well.
