But apparently Maye doesn't show up vs "good teams" according to members on the Duke board. He just pads his stats vs the bottom tier teams apparently.
Maybe we should be like them dorks and have a "favorite DI quotes" thread? This one would be atop the list...lol
Man oh man, Luke didn't back down. He wasn't shooting well, but still found a way to score.
How can you not like Maye? Anyone not able to appreciate his growth is just douche.
Posting here just so the dookies can see my sig of Luke sending the Heels to the Final Four. 
I will take Luke Maye any day of the week and any day of the year, the kid is not only an absolute work house, but also has such great character. Seeing the player that he has become and knowing the amount of work that he constantly puts in just makes it that much sweeter. He possesses all the qualities in that whatever path he goes on to in his life if it's basketball or not he will be extremely successful at. I am absolutely blessed to have him as a Tar Heel and I will be telling Luuuuke Maye stories for a long time because the kid is a huge motivation for all of us.

He was 7-15 and fouled with no call on several of his "misses". I guess you mean from downtown? He was 0-3 from deep.
He epitomizes the term student athlete. He'll go down as one of my all time favorite Heels.
The manner in which Carolina won the game is the best takeaway. It was a true effort win with all involved in an unselfish way. The spacing seemed a little wider and when we went attack the rim mode we had more time and distance to make great decisions. The lack of turnovers and winning the 3point game was just a few building blocks. Great teaching game for Carolina. It shows the ceiling can be high for this group. The interviews with the players show they are getting locked in and can play with anyone.
