Sucks for us, but the kid made a choice. To me it isn't personal so I take him at his word. No evidence to the contrary so it makes me happy to believe he made the choice based on minutes like he said. Good luck to him, but like the immortal one said: "We can with with you or without you." I still have hope for Seventh and Az so my glasses are still plenty blue!

Hey yall, this is my first post but I've been reading for a while. Those that are members, have you read anything that the Arizona board is saying about their pick up? When I checked, there was only one thread and the first post said "Finland Prospect". Do they even know his name?

I haven't checked the AZ site. No sense in it. We lost him. I couldn't care any less about how AZ feels about the pick up. But I will admit, this one stings. I really, really wanted this kid and I thought we were going to get him. For it to end so abruptly with us seeming to never have really been considered,... it's disheartening. But what are you gonna do?
This one makes zero sense to me, I mean, of all the places the kid could have gone, you elect to play for Miller? That guy has flat out wasted a ton of talent, just straight up wasted them. For this kid to mortgage his future on that coach is an amazing bad decision IMO. And when you have a program like UNC offerring you, a program know not just for putting players in the NBA but a program that especially features its big men and yet you elect to play for a coach that has not won a darn thing even with loaded lineups, just boggles my mind.
yeah, I wanted the kid to commit to us but my comment is not so much out of him picking some other program, it is more than Arizona and that staff have consistently way under achieved the level of talent that has been there under Miller. Honestly, if he were the UNC head coach I would be screaming for him to be canned and my screaming voice would not be a solo !
Miller is 20 years Williams junior. He's tracking at a Roy pace if you look at it.
He may be on the track, lots of them get on the track, few get to where Roy is, you get back to me when and if he ever does...
