The Owls just scored a TD with 1:43 left in the 1st quarter to draw within 14-10. How is it that Miami seems to struggle in games like these almost every season? I don't want to hear another word about UNC squandering talent. The Canes land top-20 recruiting classes every year, often higher.

I watched it up until the weather delay. FAU has a lot of talent from S. Florida so it's not entirely impossible to hang with MIA. That RB they have is a stud from what I saw..

I don't care if other teams squander talent- it is unacceptable, period.

Canes stop screwing around and outscore FAU 24-3 in the second half to win 44-20.

In some ways they're our kindred spirit in football. Flashes of brilliance -- like when they dominated VT in Blacksburg last season -- but very inconsistent.

Since Butch left Miami, that has been the case. Coker had 2 years in which the Butch talent did its thing, and then the bottom became leaky.

This should be Golden's last shot. If he can't win 9 in regular season, Miami needs to fire him. Assuming they have the money to fire him and replace him well.

The Cane QB can look pretty good....they do have some skill players and speed at WR.

Meh. Said this in another thread too but I don't subscribe to this narrative when it comes to WP. Dude had a bad attitude and also seems to hate UNC so I don't care much

Miami wouldn't squander all that talent if they simply had a QB. They haven't had a good one since Kenny D left.
