OH NO! By no means Shun. While I will always try and keep everyone posted this thing is long and drug out! They tested my Brother Monday to be the Bone Marrow Donor. Asking for prayer that he be a match. Go to the Bone Marrow Clinic tomorrow to start the process of setting everything up. Keep those prayers coming and THANK ALL of you for the Prayers and Donations. Long road ahead, appreciate you all.

Sitting here at Duke Cancer Center right now. Found out yesterday my Brother is not a match for the Bone Marrow Transplant, have to go to the National Register now. All prayers felt and much appreciated.
I have faith in God and in you Mike. Never met you but I consider you a friend. We're all praying that you find a match and beat this dreaded disease.
Mike , how do we go about being tested for a match. I will gladly be tested
Hi wilsinnc, I assume that GOD is in your heart, my brother.
Shun, he is and my family has seen its share of tragic illness. We lost my 32yr old neice to kidney failure in june my 32 yr old nephew 5yrs ago in june to heart attack. I am currently in stage 4 kidney failure and fighting like hell. If i can help someone live or have a better life i am all for it. I urge everyone to register as an organ donor to help save someone.
Prayers for you Mike. Keep up the hope. God has a plan. I am undergoing major surgery next week and will not be able to be around here for quite a while but will pray for you even in my hospital bed. And I believe God has a plan for all of us so I am not worried. You as well, let the plan play out. Fight like heck, but know the plan is in place.

Mike, have they discussed cord blood with you? They may have have searched for that too.
When I was in the unit last fall, judge Carl Fox of Orange County was in at the same time. He is MDS and did not have a match, but they were able to use cord blood with him . My understanding Is he is doing ok now.

Yes they have. Right now My Doc says that is not a good option for me. Hangin on and praying is all I got right now.
