Wasn't nearly as good as the first Monsters movie.

My boss was actually just talking about that movie. It's fine, but the first one is far better. The only Pixar movie that really has done a sequel well so far is Toy Story. The trailer for Finding Dory looks good though

I thought Toy Story 2 was lackluster (even though you won't find a bigger Kelsey Grammer fan than me) but Toy Story 3 was terrific. Neither as good as the original though.

I thought Toy Story 2 was great, personally. For a long time I wasn't as big a fan as I am now, but it really grew on me. As for Toy Story 3, I have no problem admitting that I cried for about the last 20 minutes like a little bitty baby. Great movie. It's neck & neck with the first one, the first one is just so brilliant and kicked off one of the best strings of high quality movies from a studio. Pixar is great, but their sequels can be a little hit or miss, depending on the franchise.
