Actually, I have an incredible recipe for what is basically a grits soufflé. The ingredients are grits, shredded cheddar cheese, eggs, and butter. It's a can't-miss breakfast item.If there's one possible way grits could be good, that would be it.

SO IN!! Don't forget the pre-cooked baconOnce tailgating season starts up again, I'm gonna cook me and @TarHeelNation11 a big ole pot of cheese grits using instant grits and shredded cheese.
Dude, no. I ain't rich enough to come within 5 blocks of Shops Around Lenox.Grit fritters are also good. Bone's in Atlanta makes really good ones. You ever been there @TarHeelNation11?
The office for my old job was a few blocks from Bone's so we would take clients to lunch there a lot. I was lucky enough to get a few free meals from there. Also got a few from the Atlanta fish market as well. Not as pricey as Bone's, but not cheap either.Dude, no. I ain't rich enough to come within 5 blocks of Shops Around Lenox.
Buckhead Saloon is as close as they'll let me get.
Haha That stuff was 80% of my diet in college. I don't use it anymore though.SO IN!! Don't forget the pre-cooked bacon

No doubt. I'd throw a couple pieces of that, the one egg in that microwave egg cooker I showed you a while back, and a piece of cheese on two pieces of white bread, and I was good to go to class.Haha That stuff was 80% of my diet in college. I don't use it anymore though.
I do not envy you having to deal with the traffic in that area everyday. AND coming from Lawrenceville? Hot damn son. Amazingly, the recipe works with either pre-shredded or freshly shredded cheese.Pre-shredded?
I'm asking you which you use.Amazingly, the recipe works with either pre-shredded or freshly shredded cheese.
The man has a job and shit. He can't devote time to manually shredding and grating cheese like a field hand.I'm asking you which you use.
The average pay that allows me and my family to be lower-middle class makes it worth it.I do not envy you having to deal with the traffic in that area everyday. AND coming from Lawrenceville? Hot damn son. You're a glutton for punishment.

That's what I was hoping he'd say, so I can approve of his culinary methods, but screw it, I'm just going to keep saying grits suck and leave it at that. The man has a job and shit. He can't devote time to manually shredding and grating cheese like a field hand.

I own a cheese grater. I can't remember the last time I used it.That's what I was hoping he'd say, so I can approve of his culinary methods, but screw it, I'm just going to keep saying grits suck and leave it at that.
When I lived in Atlanta, I used to go to Bones almost every evening after work for scotch and dinner when my wife was pregnant with our first (daughter at Ole Miss now). Wow, time flies! I think the head bartender's name was Tos or something like that. Great times...dual income, no kids. I was escorted out of there at least twice that I remember and once my pregnant wife had to drive the half-mile or so to come get me. I hurled all down the side of her new car before we got home...but she got me back a couple of years later as she got margarita shit-faced with Chipper Jones one afternoon and I had to pick her up...she turned my cream interior into bright green! The office for my old job was a few blocks from Bone's so we would take clients to lunch there a lot. It just doesn't work as well with pre-shredded.Amazingly, the recipe works with either pre-shredded or freshly shredded cheese.
I can tell you when you used it. It was the last time you had good cheese.....lolI own a cheese grater. I can't remember the last time I used it.

How's that self-imposed ban on watching Carolina sports, in favor of watching Ole Miss sports, going? Or does that only apply to football...? I'm just trying to keep up.When I lived in Atlanta, I used to go to Bones almost every evening after work for scotch and dinner when my wife was pregnant with our first (daughter at Ole Miss now). Yeah, if that ain't encouragement enough for you to move down South, then I just don't know what is.Ahh, the American Dream in full bloom.
The ban has not gone well. Two years of Ole Miss football season tickets...I gave up my UNC football season tix right when Butch got axed and now starting to feel like I've seen this show before. So, I'm not renewing this season. Sucks. How's that self-imposed ban on watching Carolina sports, in favor of watching Ole Miss sports, going? Or does that only apply to football...? Also, I would not let my wife drink with Chipper Jones without me, ever, lol. That's some kind of trust you've got in your woman. Respect.
