This kid has serious potential! Hard not to like a 6'3" PG with athleticism, great instincts, and a good bit of dog!

I watched and saw a kid with the tools to be really good. I saw a toughness and alpha attitude coupled with athleticism and size. How can anyone look like they have game when they are essentially going 1 on 5 and need to be coached up some?

I saw something where he was compared to EC as far as stats this past year and he was better in just about every category…I have liked his game since last year…
They family of EC said they left because he was not used right by you Hubert…What’s the truth….
The family of EC stopped posting on social media near the end of the season because of how UNC fans were behaving.

Kidding aside, are there any PGs left or waiting to enter the portal who are as good or better than EC?

There never really were.
As for what has been out there:
- Boyd ain't special.
- George is at best a poor-man's Cadeau. Good get for Cuse though.
- The kid from Princeton who just jumped in is an excellent Lead-type PG (albeit competition being considered), but sniffing the draft.
- Donaldson is a very nice get for Miami --- probably wanted to go home to FL
IIRC, Nembhard, who is elite, (and whose stats were what EC's would've looked like had he played for Few) is out of eligibility. So, unless Jaden Bradley decides he wants to bolt and join Veesaar and come home, welp...
With that said, you can assume we're looking at somebody not in the Portal yet. Now, there is a rumor that's been lurking for a while that we're talking to Burton from ND. He can play --- much more scorer than creator --- but if Hubert ain't gonna change his approach, that might work better anyway. Again though --- nothing concrete there yet.
Portal is likely to get louder after the FF and dead period, so we shall see.
