Romo is a bit chatty too, but I like him for the most part.

Didn't you say Witten was not too good either? I've not really heard him calling a game yet.

witten is bad...so bad he makes up cliches like “pulled a rabbit out of his head.”

aikman tonight; “adams is 150 yards from a 1000 yard season...i bet if you asked him, he’d tell you he’d like to get that tonight”

huh?

Troy's brain is probably bulging with the CTE. I'm surprised he's coherent enough to offer anything lucid.

he says eleven concussions, which to me is like half...i’ve read that after one, the next one is half as easier to get...i saw at least five at dallas and he said it started in college.

he never repeats himself, he’s just too much(that’s what she said).

There's really not too much you can say in these games. Not many personalities like Don Meredith and John Madden.

I'm guessing Alex Smith's career is over. he had a Theismann-style injury... 2 broken bones. Tibia and Fibula are broken. And, it happens on Joe Theismann's 33rd anniversary.

yikes... I heard he was out for the year, but didn't know it was that bad
I'm just guessing that both bones being broken will end your career. He may come back, who knows. It would make one consider "is it worth it?"

I can't remember how old Joe was when LT snapped his leg in half. I will say that Alex didn't appear to be in the same amount of pain. Or, if he was, it wasn't as visible. Theismann looked like he had been shot. Smith laid there and pulled his helmet off and clutched his shoulder pads and rubbed his head over and over. When we slowed-it-down... it was mangled for sure.

He just signed a massive contract with $55 million guaranteed. He'll be okay financially. Hopefully he doesn't have any physical issues down the road.

Oh, yeah... he's set financially. Frankly, I wasn't overly impressed with his performance this season... aside from not turning it over. He's been somewhat consistent, but nothing special.

Then, today, the turnovers showed-up! He had 2 back-to-back INT's today, one for a pick 6 from one end zone to the other. 2nd Half, he got broke!

The Redskins are back to Square One, as always... looking for a QB. Been looking since Joe's leg was snapped in-half, pretty much!

He's Captain Checkdown. It is what it is.

I think the Panthers will get the wildcard. Today's loss was odd.
Yeah, Gano really blew it today. I was on the fence about that decision to go for 2 at the end, but if you're gonna do that with a QB like Cam, you need to give him a run-pass option type play; not have him stand their all day with no one getting open. I was expecting the old delayed QB draw play.

For their last six games, they have Saints twice, Seahawks and Falcons at home (both teams that give them trouble), and the Bucs and Browns on the road, but as we saw today, the Panthers can lose to anyone. I really don't see them going better than 3-3 down the stretch which puts them at 9-7. That might get them a wildcard, but I have no faith in them at this point.

I don't like the Saints at all. Ever since Sean Peyton got busted for paying players to injure opposing players, that was it for me. I thought the guy should have been banned from the game for life after that.
