It’s all about home court in the ACC, in HIS dook wins that game by 15-20.
Except March 5, 2022.
What are you talking about? Wake had lost 3 of their last 4 prior to tonight. Their only win, the miracle win at home against App State where App had the game won, then turned the ball over inbounding with like 2 seconds left, setting up a heroic shot from a Wake player. App State gets the ball inbounds, Wake loses a home game to the 258th ranked team in the NET.
Tonight's game vs dook was ugly. Both team turned the ball over constantly, dook simply shot worse. dook's only excuse is that 2 starters, Whitehead and Lively, are out with the flu. But make no mistake, this Wake Forest team is not a good team. They are ranked 98th in the NET. They lost to Loyola-Marymount, got blown out by Clemson and Rutgers, lost to LSU, nearly lost to Utah Valley in OT, and should have lost to App State.
Miami blew a 10 point lead with 65 seconds to go. Absolutely massive collapse, including a dumb foul by Wong on a 3pt pump fake. UVA's Beekman had a chance to tie at the end and lost control of his dribble attacking the basket.
I thought the foul on Wong was garbage, he tried to get out of the way & Clark initiated the contact. I thought justice (karma) prevailed.
Miami has hardly left Florida for any of their games. (Sounds like a dook schedule) Things tend to even out when you go on the road. Protect home court and steal cookies on the road!

Clark flopped and flung himself into Wong to get a foul called. He plays that gimmick a lot. The refs reward him for it a lot. It may be due to his being the same age as them.
I do not miss him.
I am convinced he was a troll that came here to make fun of UNC, but when we hit the uptick right then and Caleb had some of those good endings he just rode the wave as long as he could.
I know some posters left this board because of him though.
It was a huge win for them, as their NET rating was low after their non conference scheduling.
Why would anyone leave? I put him on ignore relatively soon after I realized he was a lunatic. No worries going forward.
I started at IC ages ago, then made my way here a long time back.

IC is the entry level discussion board for newbies. A few down to earth participants but a lot of excited adolescent, “just got me this new computer” kids.

IC is full of self-important blowhards with little bball knowledge. They revel in the negative and support idiotic comments as long as they are overly critical of our players or coaches! I was banned over there for absolutely no reason, and they didn't even have the cajones to tell me why! Lately this site is trending toward the same thing though. Just like the Tar Heels needed to reset their focus, leading to some seriously impressive play, we need to start being an addition to team success as well! Family should support each other, including constructive criticism, but should never attack each other like I keep seeing on threads!

exactly why I'm here. They banned me without even a hint as to why, and when I inquired about reinstatement the idiot in chief (can't remember his name) said 'well, you haven't even apologized yet'. After I told him I had no idea what I would be apologizing for, It turned out it was because I said something indirectly critical of him. He's still waiting for that apology.
I like it here much more.
I never went back after I emailed several peeps including the mods and nobody bothered to respond. Every now and then I stop by there to see what's up and they never change! They use idiotic inside jokes that were never funny and band together to attack peeps who won't toe the line and bash our team!
