Lubin slam from Cadeau but Sallis scores again 63-59 and Lubin another slam 65-59
Trimble jinx after going 7 for 7 but he gets one 66-59 and Xavier has also lost as Davis hits 2 fts to put the game away 68-59
those 2 Lubin dunks were HUGE for us
With Xavier, Indiana and Arkansas all losing today even with a third loss to Duke tomorrow Carolina should no longer be on the bubble

I try to be unbiased as a UNC fan but if you can’t see how blatant this is, I can’t help you. Karma/Justice prevailed in the end.
i think we will now be in the NCAA tourney as a play-in game (12 seed vs 12 seed) after this win. a victory vs Duke tomorrow puts us 100% in and probably as an 11 seed without having to play in Dayton first
Ugly game, very fortunate that Wake shot really poorly, but intense as hell! I am fine with a physical game but call it the same on both ends and I did not feel that happened.l Our guys were getting hammered inside and no calls but breath hard on Salis and the whistle blows? And why did I just know after that T for tripping that Hubert got us that the refs were going to look for pay back, they got it with that T on our bench.
I think that is now worst case, more dominoes remain, just a few fall our way and we are not in the play in game.
A survive and advance type game. Getting pretty RJ dependent again but at this point of the season, it doesn't really matter. Each game is its own entity.
