Oh slinger I have and that thread, some 70 pages long, is a collection of lies, BS fantasy and LOL pure ish. This guy, along with the entire collection of losers that populate that and all the other LTCC boards, needs to be put on suicide watch as all his efforts have been shown to be what they always were.... WORTHLESS
The policies & proceedures remain the same but this is the entire NOA released today, not just an admendment to the original one. The NCAA just redefined last week what was a non-allowable benefit and that defination did not and does not apply to what happened in our case.
I laid all this out for you over the last 4 days, I wanted to prepare everyone for what we were about to see. This has been in the works for a while, the language concerning the women's program has been a on going discussion for a while (between UNC and the NCAA) but the men's programs have been clear for a while now, heck they were clear with the first NOA. I have not been guessing about this stuff, when Roy started telling folks the men's basketball team would not be hit with post season bans or scholly reducts, I knew what I was being told was spot on.
That's incorrect. The original 5 charges still stand. This one is added to it. The other five didn't go away.
Any mention of men's bball did go away though, which is the breakthrough news.
Props. I did get a little worried with all the recent negative talk + the whole 8 month issue, but it looks like it's going to work out. This day was a lot more eventful than I had planned it to be
Your incorrect is incorrect, all mention of men's BB and FB have been removed and the NOA released today is the WHOLE NOA, like it or not, is what it is !
What do you mean "this one"? The 5 charges in the Amended NOA are almost the same with the "impermissible benefits" removed (except for WBB) as well as any mention of MBB and FB.
On top of that, UNC AD, Bubba Cunningham, the amended NOA replaces the original NOA - not "in addition," as some speculation had suggested...

Sorry TDT but you are wrong as wrong can be. In his press conference today our AD Bubba Cunnigham was asked if the amended NOA was an addition or a subtraction. He said it was a replacement. There are 5 charges still but NOT six and the charges were modified significantly.
It should say "With The UNC Scandal Coming To A Close & Editorial Integrity In Question, Dan Kone Has Been Released From The News & Obsolete" but that's just me.

If they haven't already pulled press credentials for anyone that parpetuated this BS, they should. If they can't, there should be a university wide moratorium to all coaching staffs to completely ignore these individuals. All UNC alum and friends of the university should make sure they never support the N&O, etc. McCants, McCants sister, Devon Ramsey and McAdoo should never be able to step foot on campus and since the ABCers wanted a banner down, the school should paint McCants jersey red and send it to Rawlee. Take that ish down.

It's nice to see the NCAA realize their role. As much as the UNC haters wanted this to be a death sentence, it was not even close. Why? Because nothing occurred that was impermissible. This whole thing has been a charade. Not to mention the hypocrisy that is dripping off of every fan base and their own schools. I'm not exactly proud of the fact that these easy courses and classes exist, but they do... everywhere.

LOIC is still very much a concern from the Athletic dept standpoint.
IMO I think then WHEN the NCAA gets around to the punishment phase, we are going to get blasted from a womens BB standpoint and probation and a fine , a HUGE fine, from an overall athletic dept standpoint.
