I think this team has a chip on its shoulders from the "soft" comments the media was trying to feed the masses.
The guys have taken the responsibility of playing with the necessary defensive intensity. This team dictates it's tempo with it's defense. The 2009 team for example would just offensively run you out of the building. This team just wears others down steadily and shuts the door the last 6-8 minutes of the game.
It's the 2005 Natty Champ shirt I've been wearing since the start of the ACC tourney. I have worn it every game since and it has not been washed. Kinda ripe but I'm not gonna break the spell now. The salsa stains give it character. At least that's what I tell the wife.
