• Charlotte native Jae’Lyn Withers made seven three-pointers, a career high and the most ever by a Tar Heel in an ACC Tournament game. Jason Capel (vs. Clemson in 2001), Harrison Barnes (vs. Clemson in 2011) and P.J. Hairston (vs. Miami, 2013) all made six.
• Withers scored a career-high 21 points. He scored 20 vs. Prairie View A&M and Notre Dame while playing for Louisville.
• Withers made 7 of 10 from three. The seven 3FGs are the most by a Tar Heel this season and his percentage (.700) is the highest by a Tar Heel this season.
• Withers made five 3FGs in the first half. He was the first to make five in a half since Cormac Ryan last season at Virginia.
• Ven-Allen Lubin scored 17 points and grabbed 10 rebounds. It was his seventh consecutive game scoring in double figures (the longest streak in his career) and his second double-double in three games.
