Regardless, it's disingenuous to bitch about corporations and billionaires not helping out the general populace, and then spit in their face and tell them to F off when one of the biggest corporations, and the biggest billionaire, tries to throw you a bone.

Amazon was going to go to NY because it would be profitable. Its not like they're doing it out of the goodness of their hearts.

My whole point in this thread is that Amazon being a boon for NYC is debatable. Sure they would have made an economic impact. But they would also have wreaked havoc as well. Personally, I think the good outweighs the bad as it’s the same issue here in DC. But NYC will be just fine in the long run.

Elected what in 2024? I'm not even sure she gets a second term in congress. Dems are already talking about challenging her in the primary.
