Only 8 total fouls called in the first half. If you're gonna burn fouls, you are gonna have to make them worth it.
Michigan is playing their normal game of living and dying by the 3. Getting Wagner in foul trouble would really slow their offense down..
I'm glad they have left the last game in the past and are playing with spirit and good execution... like they know they can
Manley has a lot of potential. Needs to work on defense and improve conditioning. Has nice little post up game. Love this kid.
First half thoughts:
The crowd has great energy tonight!!
Great job controlling the tempo of the game. One thing I wanted was for us to control the pace of the game and to make sure it was up-tempo, getting it and going in transition, I am very happy that we are doing exactly that. They were able to keep up with us in the beginning of the half, but you could see we were wearing them out as the half progresses.
Great assist numbers, 16 in the half on 20 made field goals. We are going to be very successful if we continue to share the ball like that.
We came out aggressive and ready to go on the offensive end. A lot more off the ball movement and spacing tonight.
Love seeing K3nny Williams getting off to another hot start.

What a sequence there with Manley going behind the back to Seventh with a nice bounce pass to Theo who finishes it off with the the up and under basket.
Seventh looked really good and came in ready and poised. He had a very good half with 4 points and 4 assists in 7 minutes.
There's a reason JB was out on the court three hours before the game. He wants this one and its showing. Just looking into his eyes you can see he is in attack mode and locked.

It's not a successful half without a drawn charge, but Joel took care of that. Take it the other way!!
You could see our D was getting to them in the second part of the half as they forced up contested jump shots.
Luke was able to get his way down low. 13 points for Luuuuke.
That's exactly performance we needed to come out with tonight. I expect them to try to get the ball inside more to Wagner in the second half, so bigs are going to have to be ready to work. We need to continue to push the ball and find the open man in transition. Love the unselfishness again.
Let's keep that intensity up and finish it off.
