Absolutely LOVE this young man and his DEVELOPMENT as a PLAYER!!!!!!!!! I watched the highlights and reminded me that as I watched the game, he CARVED up that interior of the zone. His passing was brilliant and QUICK, he knows what to do and when to do it. Just a masterful job at the key feeding hicks for the easy dunks. Oh and BTW he can score the ball as we all know. This fellow is maturing and growing and frankly he is becoming one of my favorites on a very likeable team.

He is gonna be a HUGE factor in March!!!!!

You always could see the raw talent. Late bloomer putting it all together and channeling that emotion in the right way, but DANG he is a force to be reckoned with now! Brice and Isaiah last night @Cuse, freaking masterful.

Roy probably sat Brice down and said something like "We have a good chance to win the NCAA title this year and you must be one of our leaders in getting it done. You don't have to score 20 points every game. You can get 20 assists and be just as effective. Show the emotion, but don't get a technical foul...can't have that young man". Represent UNC well"!

Brice has been on post game ESPN interviews the last two games and has represented UNC well. He seems to really enjoy this! He knows he is front and center and seems to enjoy the role. Once he improves his 20 -foot jumper he will be a star in the NBA. It may take a few years to improve that outside jumper, but I see the potential.

Great post. I was going to start a thread on this exact thing. Brice's play on Saturday was more impressive to me than his big scoring game.

I have been thinking lately about how much he reminds me of Rasheed Wallace. Does the board think that is a good comparison?

Don't think I would go that far. I would say that Brice is getting closer to maximizing what Brice can offer. Not sure if he is maturing or Roy is handling him differently or a combo of the two, but it is starting to pay off.

Sheed is on the short list of Greatest Tar Heels of all time, so that is a little much; Brice is finally realizing his own potential and that will be plenty good for us! Love his skill, but I really love his development and increasing intensity! He has become a complete player and could lead us to great things.

Now in the top 10 in some mock drafts. Some are so old they list his weight as 185! No way can they be accurate. He's up to 230, what a suttle transformation.

I see Brice as a late lotto pick based on his current performance. I would love to see him replace Duncan in San Antonio.

I can see the comparison to Sheed. They do have similar body build (didn't start out that way, but now that Brice has gained 40 lbs of muscle...), similar emotional style and some of their post moves are similar too. Sheed was more of a vertical leaper, just a freak athlete and his shot was more polished. But I think Brice has the ability to hit shots outside of 15 feet. He's shown flashes of a jumpshot.
