OOTB's Political Thread . ..

Suggesting that people should only have sex when they intend to have children is probably the stupidest possible solution you could propose in this discussion.
the stupidest suggestion was that birth control should be rejected as a solution to irresponsible use of abortion as birth control, because it fails to work maybe one percent of the time. Just forget about birth control and keep those abortions coming I guess.

The human lives at stake are going to grow up to be welfare recipients and Democrat voters. Exactly what we need more of in this country.
what we need more of, desperately, are more humans that value human life. Although you are very possibly correct, what we don't need is to terminate human life because of what it might turn out to be. We're already approaching the dystopian democrat state, no need to rush it.

So you have sex knowing that you could get pregnant with a baby that you dont want while going to college?

Wonder what the odds are of getting pregnant while on the pill and using a condom.

Love this. It's never about what's fair or anyone's fair share, it's about appealing to the masses and making them into victims of the rich. And, of course, there is no rationality or logic to this claim at the outset. First, they pay the bulk of the monies contrary to the implication. Second, they pay exactly what they are supposed to pay under the existing tax codes, regardless of political viewpoint.

and if the existing tax codes are unfair, you can't reasonably call them unfair to the less wealthy. You can explain all day long that placing a much bigger tax burden on the super-rich won't solve our economic issues, and it won't matter...it's all about that illusory 'fair share', born of human-natured resentment......like the hippie dippie TYA song says,

Tax the rich, feed the poor
'Til there are no rich no more

I would like to be super rich, but it doesn't bother me that I'm not. I'm not, and I don't resent it because I know that if I had made different choices and done things differently, I very well could be; and I celebrate that reality, because it doesn't exist elsewhere like it does here.

More importantly, I know that the achievement of becoming super rich has benefits for all of us. All our lives are better for the achievements of the super wealthy, at least generally speaking. I do NOT want to 'fair share' wealth out of existence. I don't want to live in the dump that would result.

Can't refute the meme so you engage in name-calling and foul language. Just like your mama and Jesus taught you, I'm sure. Good boy.
foul language? 'Asinine' isn't foul language. Maybe you think he misspelled 'assinine', a non-existent word. He didn't. I won't argue your point about name-calling, although I think overreactions to name-calling are overrated.

If you'll consider it honestly, that meme and some of your others are kind of asinine, you filthy swine. Har har.

It's becoming more clear to me that 99% of the people for abortion are just lazy P.O.S. people that dont want to take any responsibility for anything.

so you think the woman at the rally was protesting because there was a one percent chance that birth control would fail? That the chances of her receiving her education hinge on whether abortion is available?

If Sweden and Norway and several others can make it work, why are you so sure America can't?

Then again, you might be right . . . people like you live here, after all.
a little education for you.

What it is and what it be like

'Making it work' doesn't mean anything. Everything works until it doesn't. Slavery works if you have the tolerance for it. It isn't what works, it's what you are willing to tolerate in order to get the benefit. I am willing to tolerate that some people can wipe their behinds with 1000 dollar bills if they want to, because that means I can too if I can get my hands on one....just maybe not nearly as frequently as others. Or at all. That's not a bad choice either, and we all have the freedom to not wipe our behinds with Grover Cleveland.

America. Non-socialist for the most part but teetering against the clueless, uninformed totterers who couldn't tell a golden egg from a goose turd.

Uh-oh, Trump blinked

In another case of the artless deal, Donald Trump succumbed today to the notorious Chinese torture chamber. After initially raising the tariff on goods from China in February to 10%, and later to an astronomical 145%, Trump has agreed to end the stupidity and bring that number down to 30%. That's still quite a bit higher than it was when he came into office but considerably lower than what it was yesterday.

Nevertheless, this 30% tariff -- or let's call it what it is -- this 30% tax on Americans was unnecessary to begin with and it now leaves Trump defeated and wallowing in Xi's shadow. Way to go, Donnie!

Guy I know had a big party at his church last night to celebrate the SC’ ruling. He is in his late 20’s and him and his wife already have 4 children. They have been on welfare and food stamps their whole marriage. Both are big Trump supporters….

I was just in Norway, it is 98% white vikings with a common work ethic and culture. They are willing to pay high taxes and live mediocre lives because they are well brainwashed.

The Nordic countries are now regretting bringing in 3rd world trash that live in the big cities and cause trouble.

The US has been invaded by millions of 3rd world people that will drain the welfare system if given the chance. Why do rich Canadians come to the US for surgery...

So why is a bunch of lesbos concerned about not being able to have an abortion?
the same reason the woman was at the rally from your previous post. It has nothing much to do with abortion or anything else in particular, and much more to do any perceived infringement on a woman's entitlements. When women feel their status threatened, they'll form a mob, much like the defensive circle of a herd of muskox. It doesn't have to make sense for them to do so.

The positive thing about these marches for abortion is most of those people could use the exercise.

guy I know had an abortion. Said you wouldn't believe how painful it was. I don't know whether he is on welfare and food stamps, but maybe I can find out. His wife has two large but different size breasts. She once took first and third place in a wet t-shirt contest.

Other than another opportunity to use a stupid pic, meme, gif, etc., or enlarging your font size, exactly how specifically does this leave "Trump defeated and wallowing", pray tell?

And so you understand before you fall back to your standard response, just because Trump did something, it doesn't always mean it's bad for our country - that's the tds kicking in without actual basis. Your claim should have something substantive to support your assertion. If you can't do something more, you're nothing more than the mentally ill guy standing in the street screaming at the clouds for being too fluffy.

Wow! That would really hurt if I gave 2 shits what you think.

LOL. I love to play devils advocate just to watch libs squirm and cry about whatever hurts their feelings.

I'd rather a woman have an abortion (which they still will be able to do) than to have a child that she/it/they/them can't afford. I don't want more kids and moms being dependent on the gov't to foot their lifestyle. Just put them with the rest of the born losers. Another ghetto bastard.

while ours stopped at 30%, according to what I read. Liblogic AND liblies.
What exactly are you saying is illogical or a lie? The only person lying to you is yourself.

From my post above:

RFK Jr. takes his grandchildren swimming in fecal matter. Hilarious!

WDVM_RFK_WADES_IN_DUMBARTON_OAKS_CREEK_9PM_PKG.00_00_35_16.Still001.jpg

The nation's top health advisor spent time with his grandchildren on Mother's Day in a contaminated Maryland creek, according to photos shared on his social media. U.S. federal officials have warned against swimming in the waters for more than 50 years.

According to the Environmental Protection Agency and the Department of Energy and Environment (DOEE), Rock Creek contains widespread human and animal waste and consistently contains high levels of Escherichia coli (E. coli).

😂🤣🤮🤢🦠🤣😆

the liblogic is all over the place. Take your pick. I would go with that which was already pointed out, that Trump 'succumbed' to blah blah blah, when in fact his reduced tariff rate is at this point higher than China's. Just because Trump reduced his from what they were doesn't indicate anything other than that he reduced his from what they were, as part of the ongoing back-and-forth with China. Of course, try-too-hard libtools like you try to make that sound like we surrendered the WH to the Chinese.

So far as liblies are concerned, take your pick of just about anything you post. I could go with the aforementioned bit of idiocy on your part, but the disingenuous effort to portray Trump's changing tariffs as failed policy at this point, which you so happily participate in, is just typical leftist distortion and smear tactic dishonesty. Liblies. No one knows what will end up washing out with all this. Calling it failure at this point is just dishonest. The only thing we can bank on is that dorks like you will gleefully piss their pants every time an opportunity to distort reality comes along.

And you think THAT spells victory for Donald Trump? It sure as hell doesn't spell victory for American consumers who will be paying an additional 30% tax on all goods purchased in this country that come from China. It's safe to assume that America as a whole would prefer the 10% tax we had BEFORE Trump came back into office.

And before you wet yourself, remember this: just like with the U.K., this is only an agreement and not yet a deal. We had a deal -- a good deal - before Tump came along and f*cked it up. You should also know that with all the uncertainty and potential volatility that lies ahead, Wall Street has very mixed reviews today while China sees the agreement as a big win for Beijing. Just what Donald Trump was afraid of.

They're not calling this the Trump tariff retreat for nothing.

The only thing we can bank on is that dorks like you will gleefully piss their pants every time an opportunity to distort reality comes along.
I'm not distorting the facts and you know it. I routinely use legitimate sources and always share the links. You're only comeback from the unfortunate truth is to make claims that either I am lying or, like this, that I am distorting the facts. You poor thing. Life must suck for dumb, spineless people like you.

And you think THAT spells victory for Donald Trump?
well, THAT might very well be, but I didn't say so. YOU indicated it spelled defeat, yet present nothing other than opinion disguised as fact to try to make that seem to be the case. That's what I called you on. I said no one knows how this will all eventually shake out, and I said so because you are trying to indicate that Trump has already been defeated.

I'm not distorting the facts and you know it. I routinely use legitimate sources and always share the links. You're only comeback from the unfortunate truth is to make claims that either I am lying or, like this, that I am distorting the facts.

You spew your biased bullshit, while I just say what's what. Accordingly, I called bullshit on your latest attempt to distort reality. Remember? I said reality is what you distorted, not facts. And I laugh at your sanctimonious claim of being the fact provider. You are more FOS than a Christmas goose. Facts are facts, but facts can be presented deceptively, and that's part of your routine, your M.O..

You sometimes provide linkage to bolster your claims and sometimes you don't. but mostly what you provide is just biased garbage. I am the one who calls you a liar because you are, but when I present something as fact, I am the one who backs it up with good substantiation, not you.

I love how your being outed as a liar has gotten under your skin so badly. It should.

It's safe to assume that America as a whole would prefer the 10% tax we had BEFORE Trump came back into office.

What is safe to assume in your opinion is neither here nor there. We weren't discussing American opinion; but nice strawman attempt. People will complain about not having what they want right now, and then say they were behind NOT having that all along when it turns out to be a good thing. Good leadership doesn't play to the whims of the public but does what it believes is right and proper for people in spite of how popular or UNpopular it might immediately be.

some more blather from you and then...
They're not calling this the Trump tariff retreat for nothing.

and again, what 'they' call it makes no difference to anyone but those who seek to detract from what might very well be wildly successful. But you make yourself out to be an incredible dumbass for stipulating that if an ongoing process has its ebbs and flows, and is not instantly successful, then it must be a failure. The TDS is making you make a butthurt fool of yourself.

I've never seen anyone try so hard, and fail so hard, to make up for having so spectacularly backed the wrong pony. And what you apparently don't realize is that the harder you try, the more obvious is your failure. I love it.

I saved this gem for last...
China sees the agreement as a big win for Beijing
you don't say. I can hardly believe it. OK, that does it. China and Heels Noir say they won, so I guess that's that. LMAO.
