I don't want to get into the nanny nanny boo boo kind of stuff (unless somebody asks for it) but I have to comment on the sheer idiocy oozing out of some losers.
I watched PBS last night as I did in 2016 because I didn't want to listen to an overly optimistic slant to the numbers coming in, plus as it turned out, seeing all the tears was a special treat. As it had become apparent that things looked bleak for Harris and the panel had all but conceded, one of them, some black guy, said something like 'we have to wonder if the American people have given up on democracy'. That just sickened me and filled me with contempt, and I had to stop watching. I've also seen another media talking head opine that we more or less elected a violent revenge seeker who reeks of fascism.
The fact is that Trump was elected because we felt he was our best hope for saving democracy. He isn't going to have Liz Cheney shot in the face or install a national ban on abortion or any of that nonsense but you can believe there will be plenty of that kind of nonsense spewed. What I am waiting to see is if the despicable obstructionism born of loser resentment and loss of power that was previously conducted will be repeated. If it isn't, Trump isn't going to do anything to provoke unrest. On the other hand, if it is repeated, I predict that he won't have to provoke anything because those who supported him will have had enough without him saying a word about it.
