All I know is, a bunch of what he said he would do is getting done. That seems pretty rare these days.
I've also wanted to say and go on record regarding some of the stuff that he's done through EO's, DOGE, and otherwise. Some of it is improper, from a strictly legal sense. But there is reason behind the madness.
Because Trump only has one term and, just as importantly, two years before the mid-terms, they rolled out a bunch of this stuff almost instantaneously because the inevitable court challenges must be initiated so that they can work through the system and that takes time. Some will get smacked down. By doing it now, they'll still have time to do something about it later, but they must get it underway. So, I guess what I'm saying is that it's not going to be winning all the time. The limits on executive authority must be established and they really must be set before the next ultra left administration. Otherwise, it will really get abused at that time. You know, kinda like issuing preemptive pardons.

The Squad are exactly who we thought they were. Uber trash talkers when they thought that Kameltoe was going to win the election, hiding in their safe place now that the American people have spoken. They're a bunch of spineless lemmings. Rather than learn anything from the election, Demwits have chosen to double down on their radical leftist policies. Their behavior the last couple of days was reminiscent of a bunch of bratty teenagers. They wouldn't stand or clap for anything, not a young cancer survivor nor the release of Hamas hostages. Nothing! Let that sink in. Yet they tried to make a martyr of Al Green as he intentionally disrupted the proceedings.

not really patting myself on the back here (but then, maybe I am. Sue me). This is exactly what I tried to tell everyone about Joe Biden, well before he even ran for president. He never cared for a damn thing other than his political ambitions. He's a faker and a self-serving climber who relied on gullibility to help him advance. Fortunately for him, there was plenty of gullibility for him to take advantage of.

And while we are revisiting some of our last president's "best" moments, let's hit on what many would rate as number one - the disastrous execution of the Afghan withdrawal and the death of 13 service members. Don't think anyone here has mentioned that Trump announced they caught and have brought back for trial the mastermind behind Abbey Gate. Orange Hitler promised the families he would do it and, well, he's done it. Took less than two months. It's literally amazing what a president can get accomplished when they actually want to do something.

When told that's what the former administration had been doing, Trump simply said, "Kill them. Kill them now." He checked the box for a "Go" on the operation orders and 30 hours later the entire compound ceased to exist. Biden told them to just watch for over 18 months and that was ok with the media. In nine days under Trump, these terrorists were dust. The difference could not be more stark.

maybe this isn't such a bad thing, considering that those kids hadn't yet grown up into full blown irresponsible libtards. Some of that money might even get repaid.... although I suspect that those who made the loans possible are the ones getting paid back.

I've tried previously to point out to him that his posts often make little to no sense. On magnanimously allowing that it might just be me, several other posters chimed in and said it wasn't me.
These several posts aren't very good examples of that, because you at least have an inkling of what he's getting at. But he's clueless as to how to frame a question so that a reasonable answer can be provided.
Except that I have engaged with him on other threads and find his posting to be just fine, if not insightful. Thus, it's clear that any difficulty here is just politics getting in the way of an actual conversation.
sure, I've also had a good number of enjoyable back-and-forth's with @gteeitup. But I have also found a good number of his posts to be literally indecipherable (mostly on other threads), and I have told him so. He has gotten better it seems but I'm not going to stop holding his feet to the fire lest he slip back into occasional gibberishness.
Regarding these posts of his, If you have a point to make, just state it instead of implying that there is one to be made, in the form of a question that can't be seriously answered.

i don’t think elon musk is doing anything but being a troll…he’s voted both sides the last ten or so years, now he’s maga?…is that because he’s been given the doge office or a platform other than twitter?…seriously, i don’t get why he has so much influence on a potus…is trump working from a musk play sheet?
as for orange bias, just stop already…i don’t really complain about him, i just want shit to work…i still laugh with him on twitter, he’s great…he’s the best tweeting president, ever.

our country has been going down the dumper in any number of ways for a while now. The prudent thing is NOT to continue down the same insane path but to reverse course and get back on a track that that doesn't lead to oblivion.
Can any sensible person really not understand that suddenly going against that ruinous flow will make waves? Those waves might knock us around some but if we know where they come from and where they are going, we are HAPPY to get knocked around for a bit. We should get on our boards and ride those waves and be damn glad for them. We should help make those waves.
Elon Musk is an undeniable savant. He is as qualified as anyone and more so than pretty much anyone else to step in and advise the president as to where to ply the axe. What I can't understand is how so many adhere so adamantly to the media negativity that purposely disregards the worth of what is being attempted. It HAS to be done, and nothing of such magnitude is ever going to be accomplished without a hitch, especially in the beginning. Yet that's all we hear, is about every little hitch and things that are only portrayed as hitches, and nothing about the worth accomplished. In other words, business as usual in that regard, except even more so. The negativity is in overdrive, and it is befuddling that anyone can fail to see that such negativity should have been directed at what was going on the last four years....and actually at the obstruction that was going on for four years prior to that.
Be smart enough to not let the media (commercial and social) lead you around by the nose.
I do not think that either Trump or Musk is infallible. Of course they are not. But they are doing what we all should be thankful for and applauding, not nitpicking. They don't have a big magic wand. They have what's most important, the ability to see things for what they are and the desire to make things right.
Trump and company is not making the sky fall. The sky was already falling and they are trying their best to put it back where it belongs.
What so many people need is an understanding of 1) human nature and 2) the power of the media over the masses who don't think independently. Stock market tanking a little? WTF do you expect when the media is broadcasting with bullhorns to the sheep that the end of life as we know it is imminent..
C'mon, man, get a grip. Get on board and help, not hinder.
