lol, The Atlantic. This couldn't be less credible if it came from Mad magazine. If you're going to wait so long between flybys, at least try to actually hit a target.Oh, my, the level of incompetence is astounding.![]()
The Trump Administration Accidentally Texted Me Its War Plans
U.S. national-security leaders included me in a group chat about upcoming military strikes in Yemen. I didn’t think it could be real. Then the bombs started falling.www.theatlantic.com

lol, so you have just enough shit for brains that you finally recognize that you do in fact have shit for brains and the only question is how much shit you have for a brain? Not that much of a brain but it's 100% shit. WTF do you think we've been trying to tell you all this time?I don't know about money but you definitely have more shit for brains than I do, newbie.
He's the Tim Walz of message boarding.#1 - Mad Magazine is possibly the greatest publication of my youth. I won’t stand for it being disparaged!
#2 - It appears @Heels Noir is still as insecure as he always was. Still the great attention seeker. Don’t. Ever. Change.
my mention of Mad magazine was no disparagement of it. It is satirical and that's what I meant in belittling the Atlantic by comparison.#1 - Mad Magazine is possibly the greatest publication of my youth. I won’t stand for it being disparaged!

I practically lived for Mad magazine when I was a kid and my mother would bring the latest issue home on her shopping trips. And I read it when I was so young that I didn't realize that it was satire; I just thought it was pointlessly funny. When that did dawn on me I was pissed...for just a while and then I understood how genius it actually was. I also liked "Sick" and "Cracked', but neither was as good as Mad Magazine.
My all time favorite cover...

NO disrespect meant for this major contributor to the craziness that kept me from succumbing to sanity..
You are a POS mad someone kicked dirt in your eye at the playground.I don't know about money but you definitely have more shit for brains than I do, newbie.

if you say 'here's a link', you need to actually display a link. I hope you take advantage of this learning opportunity so as to not embarrass yourself further. Here’s a link to Fox News covering the story including confirmation that messages are legitimate from the National Security Service.
Weird that you would assume a perfectly legitimate story wasn’t credible… seems like you owe Noir an apology. This could be a great learning opportunity for you.

Meanwhile, I guess I also need to point out that a highly biased rag like the Atlantic intrinsically and automatically lacks credibility, just as I indicated, and regardless of any particular story subsequently having credibility lent to it by other sources....IF that happens to be the case. My comparison of the Atlantic to Mad magazine stands as stated.
To further beat this into your thick, commie skull, if @Heels Noir wanted to establish some credibility for the Atlantic story, he should have included a reference to those sources which might have helped in that regard. I'm not responsible for his lack of foresight.
In sum, I didn't say the story wasn't true. I said it wasn't credible coming from the Atlantic. That still holds. And even further, although the incident might have happened, how it is framed as having happened matters. The Atlantic can be counted on to frame and word such a story so as to insinuate malfeasance or incompetence on the part of anything with an orange tint, even if there was none.
So YOU owe us an admittance of not knowing shit from Shinola, but I'm not going to hold my breath waiting for such candor from you. But maybe you'll surprise me. Meanwhile, to clarify, I owe Heels Noir no apology....but I am a bit sympathetic that he has such a TDS-warped compulsion to occasionally whistle by and throw his inept and pathetic little spitballs. I almost feel downright sorry for him. Poor little fella.
I'm also sorry you are compelled to try to make a point when you have no point to make. Poor little fella. TDS is such a wicked affliction.
Afghanistan withdraw anyone?Here’s your link.
Journalist accidentally included on Trump officials' message chain about Yemen | Fox News
The Atlantic's Jeffrey Goldberg was included on a private messaging chain of top Trump officials discussing an upcoming military strike on Yemen.www.foxnews.com
Pretty crazy that such an illegitimate publication could have an editor added to a message with details of an upcoming military strike.
There is literally no way of “framing” this story as anything other than grotesque incompetence lol. The mental gymnastics you just went through to avoid criticizing this clown show is a perfect demonstration of “TDS.” If someone from the Biden administration f*cked up this bad you goofballs would’ve blown a gasket.
And you mock others for being biased… 🤣
dude, if you had even a hint of comprehension, you'd understand that my post was nothing more than scolding @Heels Noir for offering that toilet paper of a magazine to present a story that was unquestionably going to be written in order to make the current admin look bad. That's just SOP for you knuckleheads, as evidenced by your refusal to cooperate in trying to control government waste and idiocy. When you as much as open your pieholes, you know that a load of biased bullshit is what's going to follow. Here’s your link.

Pretty sure the text messages were just about where the cocaine was hidden around the WH.dude, if you had even a hint of comprehension, you'd understand that my post was nothing more than scolding @Heels Noir for offering that toilet paper of a magazine to present a story that was unquestionably going to be written in order to make the current admin look bad. I have had nothing at all to say in defense or denial of what might have happened, in spite of your trying to make that seem to be the case.
I didn't say the incident did or didn't happen, I was only saying you couldn't trust that TP to help determine if it did or didn't....and of course there IS always a way to frame anything to skew the actual facts involved. Again, I didn't say it didn't happen, I said you couldn't trust that shitpaper to present the unbiased truth of it without such skewing. That is its MO. That's the MO of the left, as a matter of fact. That's what you are doing here.
The only clown show here is you trying too hard to make a case that doesn't even exist. You don't have a case because you're arguing against nothing other than your own presumption. You are the one indulging in 'mental gymnastics'...and to no avail, because you're actually confirming what I'm saying by trying too hard to criticize what only exists in your TDS-affected mind.
But you are right about blowing a gasket over Biden. He and his admin perpetrated far, FAR worse than whatever this mishap might have been, and we blew a gasket and replaced him with someone who favors our country and knows how to proceed in taking care of it. Someone made a mistake along the way? Well let's see if it has an orange tint and blow it all out of proportion if it does. Right? Right.
ETA...I just happened to stumble upon a youtube of Rachel Madcow gloating over this. She heaps the put-on scorn so thick it literally makes one's skin crawl. That's what the left does, because it has nothing positive to present regarding their own contributions to our well-being..
It was a simple mistake of accidentally adding someone to a group. It's bad, but more an example of what can happen with today's technology and how we communicate than anything else. It doesn't rise to even a level of incompetence, let alone grotesque. I'm sure you've never inadvertently butt dialed someone or sent a text/email to an unintended recipient? That's all it was, thankfully. The irony is just that it went to this goofball who has routinely peddled misinformation to undermine our president and prop up our last one. The good news is that it happened and none of our incredible service people or others were placed in harm's way as a result. There is literally no way of “framing” this story as anything other than grotesque incompetence lol.
Thanks for the guest appearance. Hope all is well.
I wasn't going to do this, but now I kinda have to. Here's the vid that makes my skin crawl, i.e., the Madcow portion of it...the other parts just make me feel a normal level of disgust. It was a simple mistake of accidentally adding someone to a group. Your hatred for all things orange doesn't turn it into anything else. It's kinda like repeatedly calling someone a Nazi doesn't mean that orange is suddenly invading Poland and committing genocide. Such a "spin" is really more a reflection of the one doing the spinning and their desperation.

yeah, right. Let's not honestly define what you refer to as 'legitimate criticism' though because if we do, your ostensibly 'common sense' claim will be shown to be just more raw hatred of and opposition to anything orange. There are stringent security protocols that regulate military communications particularly when they involve sensitive mission critical logistics. I’m sure you’re well aware of that. Don’t let your cult like worship of all things Orange get in the way of common sense. It’s deranged you guys to the point where you try to frame any legitimate criticism as “hatred” and it’s silly.
@Heels Noir pulling for dook. No one should be surprised. This is the dook administration of the political world:

lol, I got something to bait your breath with right here.I wonder how bluetoe will ultimately perish?
After all, he is the eldest member of this board, a decrepit curmudgeon who long ago retired and now spends his waning hours on this message board.
Will he starve to death once this administration eliminates Social Security, of will a terminal illness consume his frail body once his Medicare is taken away? Either way, I'm watching with bated breath.
Is there ever a time he doesn't get an ass whipping?lol, I got something to bait your breath with right here.
Funny you couldn't just come right out and say what your post actually conveys....'help, ol' man bluetoe is kicking my dumb ass again'.
Except when that's the actual assignment, he'd probably turn the wrong way.Is there ever a time he doesn't get an ass whipping?
