You claim data and facts, but it's actually illustrative of the ease of statistical manipulation and how an agenda can be implemented to present a false picture of actual events. But this is really no different from the old saying about character being what you do when no one is looking. Or, when we talk about recruits, the phrase is watch what they do, not what they say.
You only want to focus on and talk about 2024, what Biden did in year four, an election year, when everyone finally is paying attention, being critical, and getting ready to vote again (not to mention feeling the impact of the preceding three years). "Biden actually reverted to policies and enforcement that were more similar to Obama's first term." Are you suggesting that Joe came into office in Jan 2020 and reverted to a policy of massive deportation that set records? If so, your "data" doesn't support what you assert. What's that? I think I just heard another one of Joe's planes trying to land with a load of immigrants or was it a bus departing from a border town for parts unknown.
Further, other than the "open border" types, no one is complaining one bit about Biden actually deporting anyone. In fact, it's only now that Trump has begun deportations that it suddenly became a problem or a racist action directed against people of color. When Clinton or Obama (and according to your data, Biden) set such procedures in place, the policy was a good one. Kind of like the kids in cages fiasco that Trump supposedly started, except that the pictures were actually from Obama's administration. Woops.
More importantly, it doesn't really matter how many people one deports if there is no limit to the number that are coming in because ultimately it is the "net" number that matters. You yourself have already recognized that there are two ends to this problem when you brought up the issue of failing to limit the demand caused by illegal employment. Joe basically put out the "Welcome" mat with his policies. Despite any deportations he did along the way, I feel confident that he did set records - record numbers of Net importations.
Honestly, if Biden was so impressive on immigration as you claim, how on earth was that issue not a positive one for him and the D's in the election? What you are suggesting just doesn't add up. Biden had great policies, was getting the job done, and was a record setter on immigration, but he got his ass handed to him on the very same issue??????? You might be able to sell ice to an Eskimo, but I'm not buying. One last thing, we can't just take raw data and apply it across the board in a vacuum. Covid had a huge impact on all kinds of things and this was no different.
