So sick of seeing lechoke being such a crybaby and begging the league to suspend green. I hope GS crushes cleveland tomorrow night.
No defending Draymond Green. He got exactly what he deserved for cumulative flagrant fouls. With that said though, if LeBron got whistled at the same rate as the rest of the league for the bush league stuff, he would be in the same situation. I mean, come on, he could have picked up at least 2 flagrant 1's in the last 3 minutes of game 4.Draymond Green is a dirty player. Of late, he's either trying to kick or punch someone in the rocks and thats not cool . . It is a little disappointing that he is being suspended during the playoffs, but, thats all on him IMO. 4 flagrants and 5 technicals in just the playoffs . . ? Hmmm . .
I've also yet to hear any teammate or his coach try to defend Green so far.
I'm pulling for GS to win . . and I believe they can still do it w/o DG.
Good going NBA. Way to THROW a game in Lebron's favor in an attempt to salvage his already tarnished legacy. Of course Lebron won't receive any suspension for instigating the entire thing with Green. Just knew there would be certain sports media outlets lobbying for Green to get suspended for trying to push Lebron off of him after LeFraud INTENTIONALLY threw him to the ground and the INTENTIONALLY STEPPED RIGHT OVER HIM. ANYBODY with a measure of self respect would of been upset and tried to push that person off of them.
THEN a clearly frustrated Lebron INTENTIONALLY yanks the much smaller Curry's arm, which could have dislocated his shoulder like what happened to Kevin Love against the Celtics last season in the playoffs. He then INTENTIONALLY throws the much smaller Curry to the floor. That's why Curry was jawing at him like "really man?" The NBA did this as a favor to Lebron AND, make no mistake about it, to unfairly prolong the series in a hope it gets to Game 7 and increasing profits. Damn, have I lost a tremendous amount of respect for the National Basketball Association.
If ANYONE deserves to be suspended it is LEFRAUD JAMES himself. Instead the NBA listened to Queen James implying that Green should be suspended and followed suit.
Doesn't surprise me at all that LeFRAUD Lames virtually called for Green to be suspended. After all, when hasn't The Queen wanted to win THE EASY WAY????
Beyond disappointing. It's infuriating.
Yeah, I agree !!!
Granted, green has really pushed the limit on his nonsense this post season for sure but IMO the NBA looked more at what he had done in prior games as well as bending over backwards for lebron. I mean that incident should have been considered exclusively on its own merits, not looking at what green had done or who Lebron is. Clearly Lebron not only threw Green down but then in an act of disgrace stepped over him and it is Green that gets the hammer? Yep, just as I was finding a way to enjoy some NBA play I am quickly reminded of why I do not like the NBA...

Green should have been suspended for the Adams stuff and that is a fact.
Losing most of the respect I had for Lebron in this series with his overall attitude, whining, and bitching about ever little thing that does not go his way. Dude is one the best basketball players to ever come along, and should play with some respect for the league even though it probably doesn't deserve it anyway. Gosh I miss the college game.
For months...really for years, I have rejected people's claims that refs are determining the outcome of a basketball game. Then that ex-referee comes out and says he thinks the games are rigged.
You guys like Lebron swinging and swatting Curry aside and they call a foul on Curry?! Every time the Warriors started going on a run and cut the lead down to single digits the whistles would start trumpeting down against them.
Watching last night's game gave me flashbacks to the National Championship game. Something is rotten. Looks like ABC got their Game 7.
You guys are really ridiculous thinking that the NBA is rigged or that they purposefully suspended Draymond Green to extend the series. You know why conspiracy theories are called conspiracy theories? Because that's what they are and nothing more.
You do know an NBA ref went to jail for betting on games he refereed, right?
That was one instance. I hardly think it's an endemic problem among NBA refs.
I've said this in other threads I think, but to reiterate: Outright denying that rigging a game ever happens is just as naive as claiming every game is rigged.
I absolutely despise when "sour grapes" turns into claiming the refs or the league or whoever conspired to screw over the team that lost. However there are some times where it seems not only possible, but even probable, that a game was influenced. I don't think that in a situation like game 5, that the NBA would say "Under no circumstances will you let GS win this game!", but I do think they would do things that would help along that result. Assessing a flagrant to a key player who is one flagrant away from being suspended, selecting refs that have shown to be pro home (or away) team in their careers, and maybe something even a little beyond that like telling the refs "Don't be so quick on the whistle when guys get held coming off screens" which would hamper GS much more so than the Cavs.
I sometimes wonder what it would take to get people to buy into the fact that a game could be influenced. Would anything short of Adam Silver coming out and saying "Yes, we absolutely made sure that the team we wanted to win to get us more money won last night" convince them?

By the way, Scott Foster (who was a ref in the game last night) was the ref most involved with the Donaghy stuff (other than Donaghy himself of course). Foster was the one person that Donaghy had more phone calls with over the time period investigated than he had with his bookie. In games in which Foster reffed the Warriors this year they were 4-4 (now 4-5 after last night), which means they were 69-5 in all games not reffed by Foster.
Curry hadn't fouled out of a game since 2013. He never even got more than 4 fouls in a game this entire season... then he fouls out in game 6 of the NBA finals?
Wow - that is some crazy fishy stuff you stated right there, Hark, especially backed up with the W-L "anomolies". Pretty easy to see why Steph and Kerr went hyperspace, hot last night. I doubt they'd bring back the same set of officials for game 6 AND 7. That would be true conspiracy.By the way, Scott Foster (who was a ref in the game last night) was the ref most involved with the Donaghy stuff (other than Donaghy himself of course). As mentioned, one NBA ref already convicted, and he is just the tip of the iceberg. If you don't understand that events that make 100's of millions are sometimes rigged, you are in complete denial.
I'm not saying that there haven't been rigged sporting events, but I don't believe it occurred in this instance. You can't cry that something was "rigged" just because it didn't go your way. Draymond Green was practically asking for a suspension. And while the old NBA wouldn't have cared that much, unfortunately it's the league we watch now.
