So sick of seeing lechoke being such a crybaby and begging the league to suspend green. I hope GS crushes cleveland tomorrow night.

Good going NBA. Way to THROW a game in Lebron's favor in an attempt to salvage his already tarnished legacy. Of course Lebron won't receive any suspension for instigating the entire thing with Green. Just knew there would be certain sports media outlets lobbying for Green to get suspended for trying to push Lebron off of him after LeFraud INTENTIONALLY threw him to the ground and the INTENTIONALLY STEPPED RIGHT OVER HIM. ANYBODY with a measure of self respect would of been upset and tried to push that person off of them.

THEN a clearly frustrated Lebron INTENTIONALLY yanks the much smaller Curry's arm, which could have dislocated his shoulder like what happened to Kevin Love against the Celtics last season in the playoffs. He then INTENTIONALLY throws the much smaller Curry to the floor. That's why Curry was jawing at him like "really man?" The NBA did this as a favor to Lebron AND, make no mistake about it, to unfairly prolong the series in a hope it gets to Game 7 and increasing profits. Damn, have I lost a tremendous amount of respect for the National Basketball Association.

If ANYONE deserves to be suspended it is LEFRAUD JAMES himself. Instead the NBA listened to Queen James implying that Green should be suspended and followed suit.

Doesn't surprise me at all that LeFRAUD Lames virtually called for Green to be suspended. After all, when hasn't The Queen wanted to win THE EASY WAY????

Beyond disappointing. It's infuriating.

All one needs is the shot sheet for the last loss for Cleveland.
I do not care for pro basketball but those number were interesting, LeBron and Kyrie took most of the shots in the 4th qtr in that loss. One talking head mentioned they have one of the better shooters in the NBA on that team and that guy never saw the ball in the 4th.

GSW appear to be a team.

Draymond Green is a dirty player. Of late, he's either trying to kick or punch someone in the rocks and thats not cool . . It is a little disappointing that he is being suspended during the playoffs, but, thats all on him IMO. 4 flagrants and 5 technicals in just the playoffs . . ? Hmmm . .
I've also yet to hear any teammate or his coach try to defend Green so far.

I'm pulling for GS to win . . and I believe they can still do it w/o DG.

Lebron is the silver spoon superstar of the NBA. But at the same time.... Green has to be smarter and control himself better. This suspension he received is a accumulation of flagrant fouls throughout the playoffs. Go back to the Rocket series and Green got a pointless flagrant for not controlling himself against Michael Beasley at the very end of the last game with the series already decided. If he doesn't commit that flagrant in Houston the Lebron flagrant isn't an issue. Green has to learn to pick and choose his spots better as an agitator.

No defending Draymond Green. He got exactly what he deserved for cumulative flagrant fouls. With that said though, if LeBron got whistled at the same rate as the rest of the league for the bush league stuff, he would be in the same situation. I mean, come on, he could have picked up at least 2 flagrant 1's in the last 3 minutes of game 4.

Playing head to head (pun intended) against Draymond well you better wear an industrial strength cup.

Yeah, I agree !!!

Granted, green has really pushed the limit on his nonsense this post season for sure but IMO the NBA looked more at what he had done in prior games as well as bending over backwards for lebron. I mean that incident should have been considered exclusively on its own merits, not looking at what green had done or who Lebron is. Clearly Lebron not only threw Green down but then in an act of disgrace stepped over him and it is Green that gets the hammer? Yep, just as I was finding a way to enjoy some NBA play I am quickly reminded of why I do not like the NBA...

Not to mention lechoke pulling and almost throwing him trying to stop Curry from getting the ball. And he got no calls from those refs.

I think what blows my mind more than anything else is this incident happened right in front of a ref, ref was clearly looking right at it and yet no whistle until after Green gets up and is extremely upset?

COME ON NOW, right in front of the ref Lebron with both arms pushes Green to the floor, steps over him as he does lingers to allow his ball sack to slide over Greens face and Green is the one penalized? What exactly would lebron have to do to get called for a push off foul???

The officiating has been all around terrible they are just letting too much contact go both ways. This series will go no more than 2 more games (probably 1) cause when it is crunch time the Warriors are getting it done and the Cavs not so much.

Draymond Green : Kickin' dicks and taking names

Losing most of the respect I had for Lebron in this series with his overall attitude, whining, and bitching about ever little thing that does not go his way. Dude is one the best basketball players to ever come along, and should play with some respect for the league even though it probably doesn't deserve it anyway. Gosh I miss the college game.

Green should have been suspended for the Adams stuff and that is a fact. The fact he is suspended here is nothing more than what should have been done in the first place.

Lost respect for him awhile back. The guy is the poster child for entitlement.

For months...really for years, I have rejected people's claims that refs are determining the outcome of a basketball game. Then that ex-referee comes out and says he thinks the games are rigged.

You guys like Lebron swinging and swatting Curry aside and they call a foul on Curry?! Every time the Warriors started going on a run and cut the lead down to single digits the whistles would start trumpeting down against them.

Watching last night's game gave me flashbacks to the National Championship game. Something is rotten. Looks like ABC got their Game 7.

When Harrison was missing layup after layup and wide open shot after wide open shot, my fiance said "do you think GS is being paid off?", i said no f'ing way. Then the highest scoring team in the last 24 years had what, a 9 point 1st quarter? Then i started giving it a possibility.

The fix was in on games 5 and 6 - whether you want to argue if it was actually used or not is fine (since the Warriors had a bad shooting night in both games on their own, and there may have not needed to be as much influence by the league as if they had been firing on all cylinders). I think the league has gotten their wish of a game 7 for money's sake, I don't think they'll rig for Lebron anymore since they've extracted the money they could from the series. Should be an even game now, and GSW will win by double digits.

I'm not a fan of conspiracy theories. In saying that, I'm also very confused at how a team that has been so dominant for 80+ games has now run into trouble against a Cavs team that none of us thought would push this thing past 5, maybe get to a 6th game at best. I think it's a combination of things. Lebron is shooting the ball a lot better, the refs are allowing the Cavs to run their sets with free movement by calling ticky tack fouls on the Warriors, while on the other end they are letting the Cavs maul Curry and Thompson in the open floor, coming through screens, etc with no fouls. I agree with Steve Kerr about the inequality in officiating on both ends of the floor. On one end it looks like a ballet, on the other end it looks like a football game. This greatly helps the Cavs more than anything. Again, I think it's mostly officiating and Lebron not being Lebrick over the last few games but to see the dramatic shift in this series over the last 2 games given how strong the Warriors have been all year is mind boggling, confusing, disturbing, etc.

I also stand by the fact that everybody in the league including Curry is realizing that Bron Bron can do whatever he wants and will always be the golden boy of the league. They've invested entirely too much for that to be the case to let Curry or anybody else to shift that. Curry's emergence is icing on the cake for the league but make no mistake, Lebron is still the golden boy.

Game 5 in 2006 Heat vs Mavericks is what nailed the coffin shut on the NBA for me. Stern was determined Dwayne Wade was gonna get a title and "be the next Jordan".

The calls in that game were so incredibly awful it boggled the mind. What got me wasn't just that the game was rigged. What got me was the NBA was essentially saying to fans "The game is rigged and we don't even have enough respect for you to even try to make it look remotely believable." Look at the numbers below. Wade shot as many FTs as the entire Mavericks team, and Miami was 1 FT short of doubling up Dallas at the line.

"Wade went to the foul line 25 xs, There were 5 separate fouls on Wade in which he was never touched. The internet bloggers refer to them as the Phantom Fouls. Miami as a team went to the line 49 xs to Dallas 25 xs. Dallas finished with 6 more field goals 11 more rebounds & lost the game by one. Both of Dallas low post defenders were in foul trouble Diop fouled out Dampier finished with 5 fouls."

The NBA IS rigged - rigged like a pig. Not every game, not all the time. Just when the powers that be have an opportunity to make huge money and/or have an agenda, such as creating (or trying to) a new SUPERSTAR that will make $$$$$$$$$$ for their crooked league.

This link has a few other NBA "beauties".

And I tell you straight out, some of the same rigging goes on in college sports as well.

You guys are really ridiculous thinking that the NBA is rigged or that they purposefully suspended Draymond Green to extend the series. You know why conspiracy theories are called conspiracy theories? Because that's what they are and nothing more.

You do know an NBA ref went to jail for betting on games he refereed, right?

I've said this in other threads I think, but to reiterate: Outright denying that rigging a game ever happens is just as naive as claiming every game is rigged.

I absolutely despise when "sour grapes" turns into claiming the refs or the league or whoever conspired to screw over the team that lost. However there are some times where it seems not only possible, but even probable, that a game was influenced. I don't think that in a situation like game 5, that the NBA would say "Under no circumstances will you let GS win this game!", but I do think they would do things that would help along that result. Assessing a flagrant to a key player who is one flagrant away from being suspended, selecting refs that have shown to be pro home (or away) team in their careers, and maybe something even a little beyond that like telling the refs "Don't be so quick on the whistle when guys get held coming off screens" which would hamper GS much more so than the Cavs.

I sometimes wonder what it would take to get people to buy into the fact that a game could be influenced. Would anything short of Adam Silver coming out and saying "Yes, we absolutely made sure that the team we wanted to win to get us more money won last night" convince them?

Exactly. I don't understand how people think that it just possibly can't happen, like we live in some no corruption perfect world. $$$$ is powerful force

As mentioned, one NBA ref already convicted, and he is just the tip of the iceberg. If you don't understand that events that make 100's of millions are sometimes rigged, you are in complete denial.

By the way, Scott Foster (who was a ref in the game last night) was the ref most involved with the Donaghy stuff (other than Donaghy himself of course). Foster was the one person that Donaghy had more phone calls with over the time period investigated than he had with his bookie. In games in which Foster reffed the Warriors this year they were 4-4 (now 4-5 after last night), which means they were 69-5 in all games not reffed by Foster.

Curry hadn't fouled out of a game since 2013. He never even got more than 4 fouls in a game this entire season... then he fouls out in game 6 of the NBA finals?

Daaaamn. That is crazy. I hope he isn't the game 7 ref

Wow - that is some crazy fishy stuff you stated right there, Hark, especially backed up with the W-L "anomolies". Pretty easy to see why Steph and Kerr went hyperspace, hot last night. I doubt they'd bring back the same set of officials for game 6 AND 7. That would be true conspiracy.

Makes me think more that in big time playoff series (say East/West Finals and the overall championship, coaches should have a "strike" ability like I think Gary-7 mentioned.... the ability to strike one official from select games (similar to striking jurors) who have a history of lets call it questionable bias against or for a team.

Like Roy would've liked to do with a guy or two assigned to our championship game.

I'm not saying that there haven't been rigged sporting events, but I don't believe it occurred in this instance. You can't cry that something was "rigged" just because it didn't go your way. Draymond Green was practically asking for a suspension. And while the old NBA wouldn't have cared that much, unfortunately it's the league we watch now.

You do this a lot. Say something, then back track. You said:

" You know why conspiracy theories are called conspiracy theories? Because that's what they are and nothing more."

Now "im not saying there haven't been rigged sporting event"

Which is it? Are we conspiracy theorists , or does it happen?
