dook is the luckiest team in the conference hands down. Sirk a mediocre QB with no speed and a medoiocre arm running in that "2" was just unbelievable. He should have been stopped at least 2x. averages 50 rushing and gets 107 today. dook beats a VT team with a losing record but I can just about guarantee they will move up in polls. I agree I just don't think they are that good, what is their signature win??

Dook will move up a spot or two after a mediocre win bc they've banked enough good will over the last few seasons. UNC hasn't done that yet, but who knows as some teams at the bottom of the top 25 did lose this past weekend ...

Here is the question regarding the FSU loss: How many Noles fans will get back to whining that FSU needs to leave the ACC so the league ofife won't screew the poor, persecuted Noles?

Wake is too young to have playmakers. In 2017, Wake should be competitive - not to reach the ACC Championship, but to make a bowl and even win 8 regular season games.

But the rest of the ACC is also young. Syracuse also has freshmen and sophs all over the 2-deep and special teams. Louisville is young. So Wake needs to think of its 4 OOC games as being one 1-AA team and three Group of 5 teams that tend to be Losers (say, Army, FIU, FAU, Eastern Michigan, South Alabama). For Wake, a pair of 6-6 bowl teams because of weak OOC schedules can provide the excitement that leads to better recruiting and then to a shot at a 9-3 team once again.

Wake's only realistic goal is to be over .500. Why would any high 3* recruit on up want to play at Wake? To be 9-3 wake needs to go FCS.

Which means Golson was not the answer. Which means that they have wasted a lot of valuable game experience that the returning QBs could have used to prepare for next year.

Golson has played really good this year .... no INT's for the year I think .... but this loss isnt his fault ... our young Offense fell apart in a bad way ... it was bound to happen because we have been going thru some ugly growing pains this year ... its just one game ... congrats GT ... bring on CUSE!
