Parker's Q in Wilson

@TarHeelNation11 I also like that Georgia style barbecue chicken. Get that smoker/grill to 325 and smoke a quartered or halved chicken on it like that for 2 hours with some hickory chunks. It gets the skin crisp and then you can use whatever Georgia style BBQ sauce on it. I make my own.
I live just OTP. Hit me up when you'll be here later. I'll take 5 servings please.

You folks using barbecue as a verb are really hurting my soul.

I'm going to have to seriously come by and set you up. Show you how easy it is. You live in an apartment or a house?
An apartment which is annoying. Can't have a grill. I was looking into buying a house, but grad school is gonna cost too much for me to buy right now.

I like to do a whole chicken. Just halve a small(no more than 3.5lbs) chicken. Rub skin with seasoning salt, grill over indirect heat and I either use my pig sauce or Uncle Yammies.

My favorite, if I can find it.
Really? Nice. I know you're not a big box store type of guy but they generally have it at Harris Teeter (at least they do in both Chapel Hill and down East when I'm over in that part of the state).

Hypothetically, if you wanted to start selling Scott's at your store, what would that process look like?

That kind of puts a damper on it. When I was single (read living in an apartment/condo) I used to pack my stuff up and take it to Chastain park. For a while that was great, but the last time I was there a really gritty, hyper-social, housing challenged individual came upon us and decided to partake in our dishes with his bare hands. Man I'm all for sharing, but damn that will get you dealt an ass whoopin' where I'm from.

Listen, I microwave hot dogs because I'm too lazy to boil water. I'm not packing up a grill and going to a park to grill*

*unless said park is littered with PokeStops.

You guys have got me fired up to grill some chicken this weekend!

Never grilled any duck but hoping Roy and the boys know how!
I had never tried duck until a few months ago when the family and I went to a nice dinner together. I was feelin' froggy so I ordered the duck.

...wasn't a fan :(

I've never been to any of the infamous N.C. 'cue places. My favorite that I've had is Sandpiper in Clinton off 701. No clue if it's a chain or not. But we always eat it as our night-before-Christmas meal.

I like Harris Teeter, I know the family that started it. Usually products like that are easy to carry, I'll check on it.

You have a lot of good places to choose from with 30 or 40 miles of Clinton.

Even if grad school isn't on the table, don't buy a house. It makes no sense for you at this stage in your life. Enjoy your lack of responsibilities while you still can.

Sincerely,
Old Man Raising Heel
