Peace and Love - 2016/17 Season

Inspired by Dave and Billy's peace offerings...

Let's all put a long offseason of bickering behind us and welcome this season! We had our hearts ripped out of us last year and I think we're just anxious as a fan base to put that behind us and get redemption this season. We're all Tar Heel faithful and we're all on the same team, even if we disagree sometimes.

So my sincere apologies to anyone I bickered with (I'm guilty as charged) and let's get fired up for a return to the national championship game!!

I can't tell ya how much I appreciate this thread, not for myself but for this board of Tar Heel fans, it is steps of unity of Tar Heels coming together. That is what I want, us all together, not divided. Billy showed me something yesterday, he showed me he wants the same thing I want and for he & I to come to a place of peace, if it can be the start of healing and coming together as Tar Heels for us all then it makes me happy and I doubt billy would feel any different.
GO TAR HEELS!!!!

I have been very disturbed at the chasm that has developed between certain factions of Heels fans. It is not good and I hope your post will help in creating a more positive atmosphere going forward.
