CHAPEL HILL --- No. 6 North Carolina opens Atlantic Coast Conference play with the first of a three game series with divisional foe Pittsburgh Friday at 3 p.m. at Boshamer Stadium. Carolina is 10-1 on the year and has won nine straight games after taking a midweek win over Gardner-Webb on Wednesday. Pitt is 6-4 after being swept in a three-game road series at New Orleans over the weekend. The series continues Saturday at 2 p.m. with the finale scheduled for Sunday afternoon at 1. Both the Saturday and Sunday contests will be broadcast live on ESPN3...
