Syracuse had just narrowed the score down to ten and Coach Williams called time and then the team came back fresh and focused and ran away from the Orange. For all who complain that Coach Williams never calls a time out when it is needed have to enjoy this time out and know how important it was.

I would say when we hit two threes back to back set things in motion. Roy calling timeouts is a good thing also.

Paige's 3 when Cuse cut the lead to 7 was the biggest individual play of the game. Paige misses and Cuse can really put some game pressure on us. Something we haven't dealt with in any second half of the tournament. But that 3 took huge courage, responsibility and stones. It was over after that.

I did indeed feel the shift when you changed to Daniels !! You didn't put the bottle down the rest of the game

I might have clapped the loudest when he called that time out. You just felt Syracuse was starting a run. That stopped it before it got going.

And UNC-75, you should have just started with some Jameson instead of Gin and it all would have been ok.

The time out was excellent. The 3 by Paige when Cuse had cut it from 17 to 7, and we were 0-12 from 3 at that point, was the biggest shot of the game IMO.

Thank you Roy! Calling a time out can help! If a double digit lead gets to single digits call a TO!
If a single point deficit goes into double digits call one, maybe not if 9 pts goes to 10, but 5-6 goes to 10-12, take one. Now win it all on Monday!!!

Ol Roy hasn't been shy about getting some pent up stuff off his chest. Did a no-holds-barred take down / beat down of the collective media, for all the stupid crap they ask him all year, and during the tourney. His bottom line was "you question me about basketball, but I know a hell of a lot more about basketball, and especially about my team than you do. I've done this my whole life, I've been with the guys 98 practices, and you guys have been at zero"

The cute smug little b__ches in ESPN sort of smirked in embarrassment at Roy going off in a tirade on the media. But he is 100% right. I loved every word of it.

Roy has been the Maestro during this NCAAT and ACCT his coaching has been masterful. Who picked us to be here? The Jet and that is about it. Of course the players have been as strong as "new rope" but that too is a reflection of Roy. It's us against the f&#cking world.
