Sorry, no 0-5 option. Not looking to encourage trolls. I almost didn't include a 1-4 option but, let's face it, that's a killer schedule.

We are going 5-0 to end the season and win the ACC and go in the NCAAs looking like the Badass team we were predicted to be. From this point on it is Go hard or go home. With the exception of Johnson everyone had a terrible game and Roy was a spectator and we still had 2 shots at the end to beat dook. I still think we can be the team to beat. Formula to win pound the ball down low and the wings and guards to hit at least a minimum amount of shots. GO HEELS !

I'm the lone 1-4. They MIGHT beat State in Raleigh, but I'm seeing a steady decline. I think Miami wins tomorrow and UVA @home = loss. Duke @home= loss. I think they'll take Cuse in the DD.

I'm pulling for them as always, but those are my expectations. They are playing with zero confidence now.

I voted 3-2, but that obviously hinges on today. I assumed we'd beat Miami and Cuse at home, and state on the road. But today's Miami game is the one I'm wavering on.

This team hasn't shown me it can win tough road games, so I think they'll drop the UVA one. This team also hasn't shown me they can beat Duke, so the fact it'll be a tough road game and against Duke makes me doubly think they'll lose that one.

I voted 4-1, but I tend to agree with your assessment.

Today's game will tell us if our guys have the grit to bounce back with fire in the belly. But even if they do, will they have fire in the belly the next game? Who knows?

Our guys played well against Duke for the most part. We have a very good team. But when they need an extra gear, they don't seem to be able to find it with any consistency.

I don't really know how to assess that. I'd like them to prove me wrong, but it could be that we are playing about as well as this collection of players can play at this stage of their careers. Which is still pretty darn good. But more Sweet Sixteen than Final Four or Championship.

Not bad at all, but most of us were both hoping for and expecting better.

Like everybody else, I hope they can reach down and find more - and maintain that the rest of the way. If a better team knocks us off and we played our hearts out, so be it. But let's not settle for less than that.

Here's why I'm not that pessimistic (yet). As much as I hate to admit it, I think Duke actually is that good this year - and it's all falling into place for them at the right time (other than injuries).

What that means is that we lost a close game to a very good team.

They are thumping Louisville at Louisville at the moment.

Moreover, I don't think we've hit our ceiling yet. Unfortunately, it's getting late to tinker with things. But if some of our players show up, we'll be fine.
