You don't think we need a true 4 or another stretch 4?

If we keep Drake, I'd like to see Drake and Wilson split the SF slot Then Wilson can split the PF position with a legit 4.

PlayerSF minsPF mins

Wilson1015

How would you divide the minutes?
Wilson looks like a 4/5 to me, not a 4/3. So I'd have him, Lubin, and a legit center rotate at the 4/5 spots if possible.

At 2/3 hopefully we can get bigger range shooters to pair with Drake. Without Cadeau, we still need someone with on-ball abilities, but maybe that's at the PG position only this year.

Those are probably the 2 most reputable Arizona reporters on X. I still took an interest in following Caleb Love after he transferred there so they come up on my feed a lot

This guy just appeared atop 247's list. Also tops Torvik's list. Looks like he can do it all - but can he do it all against tougher competition?

Saw that but he's 6'9 and list as a PF. PF is the ONLY position we don't need at this point (Wilson, Lubin, High).
At the moment, we have zero proven PFs.

Wilson will play where we need him, of course. If we have a good roster, I imagine that's mostly at PF, some at SF. Leaving plenty of room for another PF. Plus Lendeborg looks like he has the muscles and moves to play in the post as needed. But too good at other things to trap under the rim.

Lubin has turned out to be a good undersized center. But is there any reason to think he would be good playing away from the basket? He might be, but I can't recall any evidence to that effect. Then again, my memory sucks.

As for High, I have no idea what his best position is.

I hear you and agree that it would be great to stack the roster with top notch talent. My main point had a sprinkle of reality on it in that our biggest need is a top-notch 5. We then went out and created another huge need for ourselves in the PG position. With Wilson being ranked where he is, and the uncertainty around Drake (and I guess Ian to a lesser degree), I think we run out of NIL money before we can stack that roster the way us fans would like to.

I'd LOVE to be able to have studs 1 -10 like dook, Alabama and a couple others do. I just don't think it's very realistic for us.

He looks taller. Does that count?

Seriously, though, if we think this guy's play can translate to the big leagues, we should be all over him. If you're rigth, Kansas thinks so.
He can't play the stretch 4. So he's an undersized center, and we saw how that worked out this season. We're going hard after the 7 footer Veesaar, who Sam Vecinie says is the best big in the portal. 7 footer, shot blocker, athletic, can make 3s.

We're also going after 6'9" Kanon Catchings who can play SF and stretch 4. Ideally we'd end up with a 2 deep of
PF: Wilson/Catchings
C: Veesaar/Lubin

Jason Scheer might be the most insufferable douche to work for a recruiting site. And the amount of hate he has posted towards UNC over the years is tremendous.
Agreed and just by looking at him you would know hes never played a competitive basketball game in his life

Veesaar played really well against puke. He sure looks legit. The longer that goes the more nervous I get.

Catching is visiting Georgia and apparently has family down there.

Gotta tell you that this is starting to feel familiar
