We just spent the last 5 months complaining that we didn't get Danny Wolf from Yale.
It’s absolutely amazing what it/college basketball has become. One season we can’t get a center the next season we can’t get a point guard to come to the University of North Carolina to play basketball. If this whole thing hasn’t become a clown show then I don’t know what one looks like.
plenty of talent ‘down under’…. Only issue being, many of the top players aren’t going the college route - choosing to play pro locally which is now a feeder system for the NBA.
That may change with the sort of money being talked about in this new era of ‘NIL’
And, all that said, starting centre for Florida is Aussie.

In the ensuing 2-3 years, the NIL crap has turned anyone with some perceived value into an annual free agent. Wright had a solid freshman season and now dad wants to cash in.
From what I have heard, BYU (who has been throwing around big bucks) was in immediately and Nova is also now flush with $$$ (which BTW is why Willard bolted MD for there) and in as well. Hell, I even heard dook is sniffing (although I'm not sure how the Boozer clan would feel about that)...
It is out of control and there's nothing good about it, other than a short-term windfall for players fortunate enough to be playing right now. It's unsustainable, but the genie's so far outta the bottle that I fear the damage is permanent, whatever corrections come along notwithstanding.
Between judges (who IMO got a tad extreme in applying anti-trust law without parameters), politicians (who should just stay TF out of it), and a corrupt and inept NCAA regime under Mark Emmert (who was determined to maintain a system that rewarded serial cheaters), this whole damn shootin match got outta hand.
Well, after today, someone needs to open the wallet and get a few players. We are going to have to recruit the starting 5 from the YMCA to play for Carolina.......
I'll play. I'm 6'7, out of eligibility but will look great in the airport and getting off the bus....

Holloman is a grown man vet, and a dawg. Not going to wow you offensively, but a winner/leader and a rugged defender as a grown arse man like Cormac Ryan was. Gotta get a bucket getter along with him, but I'm fine with him then.

Seems like the internet is buzzing over Kyan Evans and UNC. His shooting splits are phenomenal. But can he play PG?
Watched his transfer portal video. Amazing shooter, but he had a 20% turnover rate. And that was in a midmajor conference.
