• Carolina trailed at the half for the first time this season but began the second half on a 32-6 run to go from behind by six at intermission to leading by 20 with 11:24 to play.
• Carolina improved to 4-0 this season.
• Carolina is 5-2 all-time in the Battle 4 Atlantis. The Tar Heels went 2-1 in both 2014-15 and 2019-20 in their previous appearances in the tournament. All the games have been played in the Imperial Arena at Atlantis.
• The 91 points were the most by the Tar Heels in the Bahamas in seven games.
• Carolina trailed several times in the first half by eight points. Its largest deficit in its first three games was three points. UNI led 10-2 at the first TV timeout and 39-31 with 1:17 to play in the half.

• Carolina trailed 41-35 at halftime, the first time this season an opponent led at the half.
• Carolina made its first change in the starting lineup this season as sophomore guard Seth Trimble made his third career start. He previously started against Notre Dame and at Virginia last season. Paxson Wojcik had started the first three games.
• Jae’Lyn Withers started the second half in place of Trimble.
• Six Tar Heels scored in double figures for the first time since 2/6/2021 at Duke.
• Harrison Ingram led UNC with a game-high 16 points. Ingram also had a game-high 10 rebounds for his first double-double as a Tar Heel and sixth of his career.

• Ingram made a career-high four three-pointers. He had made three seven times over his first two seasons at Stanford. He made one three in the first half and three in the first seven minutes in the second half.
• Cormac Ryan was scoreless in the first half (0-5 FG, 0-3 3FG) but hit his first three attempts in the first 3:53 of the second half to help give UNC a 51-42 lead. Ryan, who made three 3FGs in the opener vs. Radford, had missed 11 consecutive three-point attempts before making three straight to begin the second half.
• Ryan’s 15 points were his season high as a Tar Heel. Ryan also matched his previous career high with three blocked shots, all in the first half.
• Withers made his first three of the season and had a season-high five points by halftime. He finished with a season-high 11 points, his 31st career game in double figures.
• Freshman Elliot Cadeau was 5 for 9 from the floor and scored a season-high 15 points.

• Carolina forced 17 turnovers for the second game in a row and scored a season-high 25 points off UNI’s 17 turnovers. It was the most points off turnovers since scoring 32 in a home win over Wake Forest early last January.
• Carolina made 27 free throws and 26 field goals. The Tar Heels had season highs in free throws made (27) and attempts (31) and shot a season-best 87.1% from the stripe.
• The Tar Heels had 14 assists on 26 field goals, led by RJ Davis’s four.
• UNI shot 60% from the floor in the first half (15 of 25), the first time an opponent shot 60% in a half since NC State shot 64.5% in the second half on 2/19/23.
• The Tar Heels then held UNI to 32.1% from the floor and made 50% from the floor in the second half.

• The Tar Heels are 3-1 all-time against the Panthers. All four games have been played in the last nine seasons.
