have to admit, the new NOA is a stunner ...

I have been one of the strongest advocates of the "trust the NCAA to do the right thing" in the long run ... I apologize and admit that I was wrong. Absolutely wrong. My sources were wrong. I was wrong, wrong, wrong.

I can't believe it, but the skeptics and pessimists seem to be right. The NCAA is going to ignore mountains of evidence and let them skate.

I'm sure they are celebrating in Chapel Hill right now -- they ought to take to the streets and have the celebration they didn't have after the national title game.

Not sure they are 100 percent sure to skate (in men's basketball), but the odds are looking better ... and the chances of the hammer falling are slim.

I seriously wonder, though don't particularly care, about the mental health of some anti - UNC dolts. They have worked themselves up into such a frenzy, based on trolls, lies, and complete guesswork that, IMO, many are displaying incredibly dangerous psychological devastation that could lead to far worse situations down the road. I would say, those poor, poor folk, but ye, I have no sympathy as such.

Mighty quiet over there today. The few who have shaken off their fit of depression are actually talking about duke topics! One did try to get the day started with an "appreciation" thread which was laughable and wisely locked.

Speaking of locked....DJ's " Carolina Way" thread was shut down also. Anyone who hasn't read it, do yourself a favor and go get a few laughs. The last couple of pages are mostly him sharing The Counts catfish info...and Carolina fans laughing at him the last page. Good stuff.
