The little punk with another flagrant 1. There is NO DOUBT this kid is the dirtiest player in America... BY FAR No one comes close to this weasel. Just another day at the office for the doochies. They will all come to the defense of their WARRIOR!!! LOL and claim He is a victim yet again.

And if you watch that replay close he started to stick his leg out and trip him and I guess he thought better of it and didn't do it but he was going to trip him!

Don't care how many points he scores because he does have game. I'm just glad he doesn't go to UNC and I'm not even saying that as a rival fan. I'm sure most fans of CBB feel the same way.

Can't stand Greyson. Don't like him for his attitude not that he is a Duke player. (That certainly doesn't help though) Not going to defend his tripping. But, I saw today an attempt to foul on a breakaway to prevent the sure bucket. Not sure it was that bad but what it shows is when you have a reputation you don't get away with much.

Seriously is this like 3 flagrant 1s for vanilla whip&trip? Shouldn't they eventually accumulate and add up to at least a one game suspension?

Can't wait for him to get what's coming to him in NBA. Assuming he even makes a team and gets enough run to do one of his punk moves and then get put in his place.

I like how the Dbag tried to trip him nonchalantly then realized it didn't work and went after him

Here you go bud. It would get no real publicity for a regular player but once you're a repeat offender you lose the benefit of the doubt with most people...
Thanks. It was subtle but definitely looked like he started to put the foot in his path.
I don't get why he even felt it necessary to grab him so far from his on basket and no. 5 is out ahead of the play anyway.

Yeah the foot is definitely put in the path but he pulls it back, weird to have that instinct but I guess he's learning to fight his instinct to trip other players. Just another stupid and unnecessary play.

What's funny is that a few of their fans are saying that we'd love to have his "fire" on the team and that we'd be unstoppable with him. There have been many talented Duke players I would have welcome on former UNC teams but Allen may be the farthest one from the list. It's not because of this recent foul because those happen in basketball.

What bothers me about him is the head whipping, the numerous flops (we had video of the clear flop on his missed 3 against us), the intentional tripping, putting out his hand afterwards as if he was a good sport and worst of all in my eyes was lying afterwards about what he had done. Anybody who simulates contact time and time again, intentionally trips opponents and then lies to everyone about it lacks character. One poster compared him to Hans and while Hans was annoying to play against, he didn't trip opponents, he didn't whip his head back or kick out his legs and fall on jumpers, he definitely didn't have to lie about any of that because he just didn't do it.

Dunno about a trip but that kind of play is exactly what hurt Kevin Love last year in the playoffs.

He's a class A chump in a long line of chumps. Won't be the last either as long as Krazooski is on the bench.

Perfect player for that fanbase. They can all get on their knees for him and probably would if given the opportunity.

JJ Redick became very humble once he hit the NBA. Grayson will also....Those flagrant fouls in the NBA hurt.

Heard Bilas and Shulman on another game last night and Jay got on one team/player for the flop/charge, his opinion was it is taught and has no place in the game. These body bumps like Kennedy get into when he bodies up/bumps and the guy flies backwards 12 -15 feet for the "charge", jay said call the foul on the floppers until some staff quit teaching it.

Curious, huh?

I like Bilas but he is becoming more and more of a Lance Thomas Cover Up College apologist. He, like his fellow doochies, soft pedal, excuse ,rationalize and just plain deny that the Punk has really done anything wrong To them he is a "warrior" and plays with great heart blah blah blah.

The cult has blinded them to reality. I think all of them are delusional and in complete denial about their coach, his program and the dirty ball he TEACHES all the time.

One of the cultists even said yesterday how proud he was of Vader's "calm and composure on the sidelines." WOW Just WOW Calm ?? Composure?? This F bomb dropping, ref baiting, foul mouthed ahole is anything but composed and has been acting like that for over 30 years. But to the delusional cultists he walks on water...you can have him, his players, the dook media toadies and most especially the head up their butts fans.

I heard that too Tom and it made me wonder if that comment would have happened if Duke was playing defense at that point.

I don't see that from dook this year as much and the odd head thing or herky jerky movements. Before that it was kicking your legs out to draw a foul. I just can't believe it is effective but it does work once in awhile. That really is a bad statement about a ref being out of position in my opinion.

I think there should be a punishment to these types of things. Maybe a technical where 2 shots and the ball would be enough of penalty to discourage this behavior. I would use that as a ref when I knew it was happening as things like that have the potential to make you look bad should you call it and it didn't happen. Problem is k has the cache to get away with it. I bet if you saw someone like Huggins teaching this, it would probably be brought to attention of everyone in the media.

Better not say anything bad about Bilas around here. He is held right up there with Dean Smith and Phil Ford. Heck, you'd almost be better off criticizing Michael Jordan than you would Jay Bilas. I myself have never understood the love fest with him. He is one of the better announcers yes, but I get absolutely sick of him saying during literally every game that he calls for UNC that "Carolina should really be up more than this right now," or "it's amazing that Carolina isn't ahead by 20. They should be up a lot more."

It's hard to criticize a guy when he thinks we are good enough to be up by 20.;)

Punk crying at the end. Funny how there were no tears for the guys he intentionally tripped over the last month.... what a laugh. Oh he is just SUCH a warrior!! IF and it is a HUGE IF this kid does make an NBA roster, he will get away with ZERO BS that he routinely pulls in college.

"Grayson Allen cries like one of the girls on My Super Sweet 16 when her daddy buys her the wrong kind of BMW"

Best tweet ive seen in a while

k bragging about how proud he is to be Allen's coach and how every dook fan should be proud of him too. Simply amazing.

And YOU are way out of line with that crap.

lol...i don't even know if that's bad...he's saying what some of us have said, only his voice matters and is heard by millions.

I like the Bilas of a few years ago. He was more insightful about the game and not as much opinion the stuff surrounding it. That being he said he has been correct in many of those instances and UNC should have been up more. Carolina at its best is the closest to a great team in college this year. But back to the topic. I was listening to radio for end of dook game and was funny hearing Eric and Jones talk about Allen. Essentially said when you get caught doing dirty plays the refs will be looking closer and too much talent to play like that

Cannot be mad for saying what a majority of fans have thought.

Bilas is also the man who said throughout the entire year we are the most talented team in the country. Heck I have had my doubts about that as the year went on.

On Mike&Mike this morning, Seth Greenberg basically said dook's chances in the NCAA's will depend on whether the refs will buy into Vanilla Whip's flailing & flopping and awarding him with foul opportunities.... haha, so true. He said the ACC refs have seen it all before and weren't rewarding him vs ND.

And YOU are way out of line with that crap.

I hate to say it, Mike, but you're kind of helping him make his point.

I also don't understand why so many on here get all wadded up when Bilas is criticized. He's a dern dookie, and mostly calls it straight, unless dook or UNC are involved.
