In the five years of proudly wearing the Carolina blue can anybody ever remember RJ Davis not going to the free throw line at least once especially since he has the ball a lot in late game situations. I know I can’t.

Yes I fully realize that unless you drew blood or had a bone broken no foul was going to be called both ways but come on we all know Davis gets a ton of his points from the line and the zebras made sure he did not get any freebies yesterday.

NC State did a excellent job of making life difficult for Davis with their physical play which was really smart but by doing that the Wolfpack left Capt Jack open..

For years we have watched players from plenty of teams drive to the glass, CREATE the contact,
then go to the line. For years we have watched RJ drive to the glass, GET CLOBBERED, hit the floor, and receive no zebra whistle. Congratulations to him for always picking himself up and getting back in the game without complaint (…well, maybe a pissed off look on his face, but….).

He is a serious baller, he’s one of the BEST ever to play at Carolina. He plays to win, he always hustles, he’s a great teammate who is refining his game amidst a less than stellar season (so far) by involving his teammates with his passing skills. Keep it up, RJ. Your best games of 24/25 are still to come. GDTB ⛹🏾‍♂️RJ

💯 agree 39! I have really hated seeing some of the negative stuff on the platform about RJ this season. He has not shot it as well as we have come up expect, but the guy plays as hard as anybody who has ever put on the uniform for 4.5 years. I admit it. I’m a RJ fan through and through. He is adjusting his play and approach on the fly for the betterment of the team. That is what you expect from your leaders. I for one can’t wait to see him hit the court without that right thumb taped. It’s been taped since the 5 for 10 from 3 game against Campbell. He has had that situation seemingly every year over his career for part of the season and his numbers are always down a bit. Looking forward to see how he closes their thing out. I expect that he will Progress to the Mean!!
