wtf, first of all.as incredible as it might seem, I've only recently tried ramen noodles. Oh, I had heard about them for years, just never tried them until a supermarket I had the ramen microwave kits in a bin on sale.
Life changing they are.
Now I keep them on hand for when I don't really want a full meal, just something to appease my growling stomach. I'm wondering how they can be added to for an even more satisfying experience. Any help? I'm thinking maybe chicken gizzards, or some potted meat, but any tips will be appreciated.
Serious replies only, please.
Where's my boy @heelmanwilm?
yeah, the real appeal to me is the ease of dealing with it, especially by using the microwave. I have thought about the shrimp angle, particularly with the bowls or packages that have shrimp flavoring. Good tip. I also bought some smoked oysters that come in a tin like sardines, and I'll be trying that.wtf, first of all.
a protein i tried years ago was shrimp…broil or pan sear them for ten minutes, then add…another, when i ate meat, chicken thighs…back to seafood, if youre going to the non-trouble with ramen, you probably aren’t caring about meal prep…but, if you want a giant bowl of ramen like you see in noodle restaurants with the sprouts, etc., you cannot go wrong with calamari or mussels.
ramen in the pack is so high in sodium that i can’t indulge as much as i want, but wow, what freakin move it was in college.
smoked oysters in a tin is a nice move as are mackerel and anchovies.yeah, the real appeal to me is the ease of dealing with it, especially by using the microwave. I love calamari. How do you fix that?
