This should be an interesting pack of lies. Foreword by Mary Willingham:

https://posthillpress.com/book/plan...xploitation-of-the-modern-day-athlete-student

"Rashad McCants peels back the curtain of a generational slave mentality and how it relates to academic fraud within the university system, while continuing to clench athlete-students in its grip as they make billions of dollars for the slave masters.

Based on his own experience and others who were entrenched in the university athletic system, Rashad reveals how academic fraud continues to steal a “real” education from young black athletes.

Rashad recounts his own journey as an athlete-student, seeing the talent of his idols like Michael Jordan and Kobe Bryant and then paving his own path of success—all the way to the UNC 2005 basketball championship.

Rashad doesn’t just explain the problem. He offers viable solutions for how athlete-students can conquer the system and take charge of their own sports and educational destiny. He provides examples of others who are blazing a trail toward a better future for athlete-students.

By confronting readers between the eyes with the truth of the generational slavery system, this controversial and necessary book calls for a social and academic overhaul that is desperately needed within the NCAA and university athletic system."

Don’t know what his book sales numbers will be, but I’ll bet dollars to donuts his guaranteed royalty is politically funded by agenda driven sources and will be far more than sales.

And I’ll bet that a very significant % of the sales are from a certain fan base, located in Raleigh.

Head. Case. No shortage of talent, but he really lost me with his axe to grind against the program.

Still chuckle at his missed windmill dunk at Carolina.

What does Kapernick have to do with Mccants a totally different Situation.

Yes two separate situations, but successful athletes that blame others for their poor personal decisions. I believe Kapernick is suing the NFL as we speak.
I think Kaepernick is a hero... Plenty of athletes are afraid to use their platform. He didn't disrespect anyone.

So a basketball player that was denied an education writes a book . A player that wasn't loved by his teammates . What section of the book store will this be located ? Or should I just say what I feel ? Checkout at the grocery store . Please don't buy it .

No, the true heroes are buried at Arlington and he has disrespected every one.
How??? He sat and then took a knee because some vets told him that way it's not disrespectful. This a message board for sports. If you wanna get into politics and the bs that's going on we can. It's ok to be killed unarmed and no threat to anyone in your world I guess.

I am not going to get in a debate on this site.I am going to enjoy these College foorball games especially my Heels. God Bless all enjoy this Last Holiday of this Summer.

Which is why I did not find Kapernick’s protests offensive. However, I found them annoying. I watch sports to get away from the tumult of identity politics. If he wants to protest outside of a game, by all means do so, but sports are my escape from protests by both left and right.

I think most casual fans are in my corner as the NFL ratings have tanked sense the protests began.

I don’t disrespect anyone who disagrees with my opinion and certainly can understand why they would want a protest where a large audience is watching.

Actually, the heroes in Arlington died for Kapernick's right to kneel. Democracy is hard; tolerating descent and disagreement is hard.
It's funny for me to watch people get so offended by protest in a country that was founded by it.

And if you were truly intellectually honest you would agree that it is the right for a team owner to sit, suspend, or fire someone not willing to stand during the ceremony. Descent and disagreement is free for all to exercise... Protest is good for all right? Perhaps that’s hard for you to appreciate. Free enterprise will win in the end.

US Navy 1967-1971, any and all disrespect shown to Old Glory bothers me and I make no apologies for it. I will get a lump in my throat when the National Anthem is sung or played. Why not protest at the Police Dept if that is what the issue is? NFL is for entertainment, not protest or political issues. What did all these protesters do in the off season to show their disapproval? Why is it always Black and White or whatever color? Aren't we all AMERICANS first? jmhho

Not to disagree Mike as Im not one to diss our country or its symbols AT ALL, but you gotta admit there ain’t much bigger platform than the NFL. Forget everything else that’s s hard truth. You wanna be heard, bingo

Young Jedi. .The hell with this.. This ain't going nowhere.. You were quick to chime in on this.. But what do you have for us on the recruiting trail?

Touché Bur Heel... love for country and fellow man runs deep. Tough for me not to get derailed from Tar Heel nation when your passion for Americans runs deeper than your love for baby blue. Maybe we’ll have a beer and discuss it one day. Until then go Heels.

With all due respect, I find it rather interesting that you fail to remember that protest outside of these police departments happened and the majority just shrugged and kept it moving. The bs "Blue Lives Matter" campaign was created as a counter. So, you must really be pissed at the NFL for charging the military for military day. You must also hate to see Old Glory being sprawled out like a picnic blanket during game day in direct violation of the flag codes. And, I am certain that outrage is also on display when you come in contact with individuals who wear the flag as a piece of clothing (bikinis, bandannas, tshirts, shorts, etc.) for that is a clear violation of the flag codes as well. If we are all AMERICANS as you stated, you would understand the peaceful protest and not let some 5 time draft dodging moron and his draft dodging colleagues twist a peaceful way to get attention to a tragedy that may not happen in YOUR community as often in your fellow AMERICANS community. Here is a challenge; ask yourself why various mass murders who just happen to be white males are brought in for "justice" while non whites are killed for turn infractions, loose cigarette sells, possessing a gun while having a gun permit in a open carry state or just holding an air rifle in Walmart. By the way, thanks for your service.

Great comment

I am much more interested in protecting the ideas that founded this country than I am worried about citizens mistreating a manufactured in China symbol of those ideas. Yes, individuals have freedom of speech and the courts have held that destruction of the flag is protected political speech. You also have the right to lose your job in the private sector for the exercising of that right.

Trump has used this issue to play on people " patriotism" and to create division like a genius.

Anyone who thinks kneeling during the anthem is disrespectful to soldiers, has a remarkably thin appreciation for the values this nation was founded upon. Some of you sound like characters from an Orwell novel.
Gave 4 years, you will not tell me how to feel or what my emotions should be. How about that? You see it your way, I see it mine.
