Does anyone in the know have an idea of what recruits will be at the game tonight if any?

Not many I wouldn't think. Many of them are playing and in the midst of tourneys and stuff I think. Maybe not though.

From what I've heard there will be plenty of football recruits at the game tonight, but as Cory mentioned - I imagine some of the bball recruits have their own stuff going on right now.

Seventh, Rechon black, Jarius Hamilton and BJ Mack are the recruits I know of in the house

I hope none of them were there to watch that embarrassment!

Precisely - surefire way to have commits flip, get absolutely embarrassed on your home floor by a team with inferior talent, but a resourceful coach. Commits have to be thinking, why should I play under Roy who will find anyway under the sun to lose me games, when I can go play for a coach who is able to win hard fought gritty rivalry road games with one good player (Ingram) and one kid who tries hard (Allen) and a few stiffs.

God I hope the recruits didn't show up or something. We can't afford to lose anyone that has signed a letter of intent and they need to snag a few more! What an awful week to be a Heels fan!

Roy's coaching was inexcusable. How do you not draw up a play to get Brice the ball in the last 10 minutes?!?!?!

There is much blame to be dealt out on this loss - not just to Roy. Yes, Roy could have called time out. In hindsight, he wished that had. Had the ball gone in the basket, he would have been hailed as a hero. The coach admitted that he was responsible, but he is not solely responsible for the disastrous outcome. Let's blame the majority of the team members that chose to jack up low percentage, hotly contested shots. Let's blame the guards who went 4 for forever, instead of continuing to feed the post. Let's blame Berry for not driving hard enough to draw the defense to leave him to help, in order to feed an open post player for a layup or dunk. Doing so could have resulted in fouls, free baskets, free throws and or offensive, second chance boards. Let's blame Meeks and Hicks for their disappointing play all night and poor defense on anyone. Let's blame the senseless live ball turnovers that led to easy baskets and the and ones that helped Duke stay close. Let's blame experienced seniors for missing free throws down the stretch that could have sealed the win. Let's blame the lack of team defense that allowed Plumlee to have double digit points, rebounds and remain in the game with 4 fouls with well over half of the game left in the balance. Let's blame the team for not having the moxy to take out their arch rival at any and all cost. Yes, Roy has blame too, but when those young adults failed to follow through with their responsible duties, then the coach becomes powerless to change that outcome.

So many team members lost their ways and minds in the game because of the rivalry. The team stopped defending and fighting because, we want the image of " good kids" to represent the program. They have adopted this expectation because they want so badly to please us. They refuse to engage teams physically and or hand out the necessary hard fouls that send messages that we are not the softies that we appear to be, because they seek public acceptance as being "good guys". The Hansbroughs, Lawsons, Greens, Ellingtons, Stackhouses, Wallaces, Jamisons, Fraziers and other champions of our past delivered more punishment than they took. Those guys were and are "good ki?guys" that delivered some good punishment and still won on the highest levels. If we want to help this team and future Tarheel teams, they need to know that we endorse and welcome toughness, grit and hard, but fair play.

Lets help our kids learn to take the kid gloves off and grow a strong pair. We lose often when teams get physical and rough. We have to train ours guys to fight fire with napalm, and always be ready to mix things up when others get physical. Roy is the easy target because we don't want to blame the kids. Everyone on this team is accountable for this results of this team, good or bad. We can't love kids and coach when we win, they demonize the coach when we lose. We can't have it both ways!!!

Great post

Thanks! !!! I am a long time loyal fan. We can overcome if we change the mindset and stay hyper aggressive.
