Retro time!!!!!

I traveled with 8 other people when I was in Central America from 1994-1995. CDs were obviously popular by then but they didn't travel as well as cassettes, so we all brought Walkmans on the trip. Once we got settled in Nicaragua we tossed all our cassettes into a cardboard box and created a tape exchange. The picture above reminded me of that. It was a good way to "discover" new music while we were cut off from the rest of the world.

Back in the 80s I dated his "twin" and it was a friggin nightmare because people would come up wanting autographs and girls would literally push me aside so they could get his attention. We even got flagged down in the car to pull over and this stupid stripper comes up to the driver side, bends over to flash him!!! I sat there speechless. I'd HATE to be a celebrity.
