Aug 16 is also the same day that Madonna was born.... which is basically like saying the day that music died as well.
They're both overrated.
At their chosen profession, I tend to agree. But I don't like voicing that opinion because I truly respect both of them for the people they are/were.
Ya, I was somewhat kidding. Jeter was obviously great, and is a pretty decent guy too. I honestly don't know shit about Aretha Franklin other than she sang that respect song. Couldn't name another song of hers or tell you whether shes highly rated in the first place to be "overrated". I was surprised when I heard she died... I thought she died awhile ago.
I'm going to help you out a little. I'm not a huge fan and I'm certainly no Franklin historian but I do know some of her music. This was always my favorite.

What does Stevie Wonder's comment have to do with a thread about Aretha Franklin? Maybe you should leave politics out of this thread and just say RIP or nothing at all.
Holy cow. That's all over the place. So id Stevie claiming that climate change deniers are bigots too? Maybe we should start with a list of who isn't considered a bigot.
